It’s a shame to see one my fav place to direct by such a guy. For three years it’s been my fav place in Rome. And after a holiday, I returned to enjoy the atmosphere and I’m disappointed with the treatment I encountered. When the time turned to 5PM, the responsible of the place just put a reservation plate on my table and told me that I can’t stay if I don’t order more -my drinks had been cleared off my table 5 mins before he came to tell me this. I think the responsible changed since I didn’t experience this before. It has the best atmosphere of the Rome but this is unprofessional. Usually I'm cautious of food/drink places that are located near a touristy area, but Biblio Bar really designed their space to be inviting to everyone of all nationalities, ages and lifestyles. They have games out in the front, free to use. Books are organized ad laid out around the cafe. Their space is clean but cozy and it almost feels like you're just hanging out at home where you can see enjoyment and comfort are prioritized over gimmicks and flashiness. I only had an espresso but I think about going back every day just to get a drink and snack, then sit back and watch people lives their unique and beautiful lives around me. The world needs more...
