If I could give more than 5 stars I would. I wanted my last night in Rome to be free from the flocks of tourists and over priced food and just eat some real, homemade pasta. That's exactly what I found with this little gem. Generous portions, delicious recipes, and a vibe that simply can not be beaten. Due to their licensing they do not do table service, which means disposable plates and utensils, and I could not have cared any less. I was so overwhelmingly happy to just eat a large portion of real, fresh pasta. Other "fancy" spots you will get lower quality food and higher prices all for the sake of it looking "Authentic". Pictures don't do this place justice. Not sure if Davide is the owner but he is a superb human being, and even if the food wasn't as amazing as it is, he alone would make this place worth a visit. 10/10 will make this my first stop when I come back to...
Read moreVery welcoming experience for our family of 5 from California from "Uncle" (Zio? :D ) and great tasting pasta that are much, much better tasting and have more serving than pasta 2-3x the price from some nearby upscale restaurants we've been to. The menu is quite short. Quality is under average. I really dont understand the 5star ratings from people below. They have probably never tried good and authentic Italian pasta. We bought 3 different kinds of pasta, except the green one with basil, other two were under average and pasta was definitely not homemade, but contrary very cheap stuff. Not enough sauce, cheese and almost none pieces of bacon. You better try other pasta places on the same street, for little more money you can get real Italian food. If you are really on short budget, or very hungry, then this...
