The worst experience I’ve ever had in Rome.

When I came to the restaurant, I had to wait more than 20 minutes for waiter to simply give me the menu, even though he noticed me several times and told me to wait.I thought it was alright until he started serving neighboring table with locals,who came 10 min after I did.So by the time they had started eating,I only got lucky to receive the menu.

And here is where the “fun” begins:

Waiter handed me the menu,where it’s clearly written how much should I pay for what and I order tiramisu and water. When I finished and went to pay, waiter gave me the bill with made up prices.

When I asked why prices suddenly changed, waiter brought the exact same menu I had in the beginning,but with HIGHER PRICES. Then he brought the original menu. He called one menu is for drinks and one with higher prices is for food WHICH DOESNT MAKE SENSE cause in both menus are the same content - food and drinks, but different prices.

He said I have to pay a bill with higher prices,JUST BECAUSE.Instead of charging me by prices that were written in the menu that I had, he charged me with higher prices. On all my arguments waiter said nonono and when tried to explain his English was at the level of a 3 duolingo lessons.

We ate here 3 nights in a row as part of a tour group. So I have no insight regarding cost/value because it was included in the cost of the trip. It is also possible that food ordered off the menu may be better than when eating as part of a group. That being said, the food I received was very "hit or miss". Some was really good but most was REALLY bad. We had a lasagna and a pasta with pesto sauce that was very good. But another pasta I got had raw crunchy (I mean break a tooth CRUNCHY) pieces in it. The secondi dishes we received were all very bad. Very dry sliced pork and chicken legs that were inedible. If you have ever seen the movie Christmas Vacation... it was like the turkey from that. Deserts were decent. I'm not sure if they make them there and freeze them for later or if they were just bought frozen. We know they were frozen because one person received cheesecake that was still frozen. We also never received any bread with our meals. Service was mediocre and it was about 90 degrees inside and they refused to open the windows or doors because "the air conditioner is running". With as many poorly prepared dishes I received, I can't imagine ordering off the menu would yield...

Don’t come here if you wanna pay for being ignored!!! One of the worst client service I’ve had in long! My mom and I went to grab some drinks and snacks, and the menu didn’t said there’s consumers minimum so I guessed drinks and snacks were fine. When we ordered, I ordered an orange juice, the waiter asked me if I wanted it natural, I said no because I don’t like the pulp, then asked us, that’s it? I said yes and he gave us such a stare… after waiting really long they brought the snacks and the drinks, and my orange juice was half juice half pulp, I asked him if this is what I ordered and he said yes but it has that color because it was “Sicilian orange” it didn’t even tasted like orange at all, and when I told him I asked it in certain way because I don’t like the pulp, he said that’s how it is. I asked him nicely if maybe they could strain it or something, and he just said no and left. After that we had to wait 30 minutes to get the bill (after telling him twice that we had to go) and we didn’t got it till we went inside to ask to...
