AVOID THIS PLACE ITS A SCAM We stopped by this resteraunt after touring Vatican City, We thought based on decent google reviews it would be worth a shot (4.4 at the time). However we were very wrong. We ordered quite a lot to share amongst our group and 2x things hadn’t come out. When we enquired to see if they would be much longer we found out they hadn’t been placed. Being on a time crunch wile opted to cancel. When it came to pay they didn’t notice us standing right in front of them as they were on their phone and had to be reminded by a ?family member sitting in the resteraunt to pay attention. They also didn’t give us a receipt - lucky we asked for one as we wanted to confirm they weren’t still going to charge us for the food that didn’t come out. Turns out they were going to charge us for 3 drinks instead of 2. Thier eftpos terminal was also having issues and they just asked us for cash. Which we didn’t have at the time. Okay food, but watch out for a 3 euro service charge per person, which you may wish to contest, particularly since they provide no extra freebies. (No bread or water). I don't recommend it.

I took my wife and 4 young kids here. The pasta was good. The pizza was about average, but not bad. I ordered a litre of water and the waiter didnt even fill my glass and left with the bottle I paid for, taking away about a quarter of the water I paid for instead of just leaving it on the table. It wasn't a bad experience but there wasn't any other service than bringing us our food.

When we got the bill, there was a service fee that was 18 euros added to my bill of about 60 euros. That was a 3 euro service fee per person, and we didn't get any "free" bread or water, so I'm not sure why it was so expensive of a fee. It ended up being about 30% for the fee. When I sat down at the Boone restaurant, I felt right at home… as a foreigner in a new country, the staff was quick to make me feel welcomed and treasured. I was sat down at a table in a great location with the view of the street and the walls of the Vatican right around the corner. One thing that I liked in particular was the water fans that would spray mist on me due to the heat. It’s a lovely touch and not something I would typically see in the US. I didn’t have an appetite due to the long day of restaurant and bar hopping. Even though I was reluctant to order any food, Rafi (One of the employees at the restaurant) brought out a FREE pizza appetizer… I couldn’t resist 😂. The service was fast and effective, I didn’t find myself wondering where the drinks are coming out. If I could Leave six stars I would.
