TOURIST TRAP
I have no idea how this place has such good reviews! The service is terrible - the waiters are more interested in chatting up girls on the street than taking orders. They got our order wrong and forgot our drinks. When the food finally came it tasted awful (especially the carbonara) - again I have no idea how this was so highly rated. The wine tasted like vinegar, and came after the food and a reminder.
The atmosphere is more like a nightclub than a restaurant with pumping music while you eat.
When trying to pay the card machine conveniently stopped working - I assume so that we would pay in cash and they wouldnât have change. When explaining that I didnât have cash they said it would be at least a 30 minute wait for the internet to come back for the card machine. I then said that I had to go as we were meeting friends at which point the machine conveniently started working again.

Read moreI donât understand such high reviews. We went here for dinner because of good opinions. We left disappointed. At the entrance it smells a bit weird. We were welcomed and seated quickly, but the staff looked a bit drunk (?). We had to make our order twice because the first waiter forgot⌠While the waiter poured my wine he told me to say stop when I feel satisfied, so I got a big glass of wine (guess itâs a plus). We ordered carbonara and gnocchi. We didnât wait long and the food we got looked really nice, portions were huge. The taste on the other hand was not so good. I make better carbonara at home, and I had better gnocchi in my home town (outside of Italy). It looked like the cook tried to do his best with bad quality ingredients. To sum up, its not a place to discover new flavours but rather to get full quickly. During our wait I felt a bit stressed not to get food poisoning. The atmosphere of the place was not comforting. We left unsatisfied. I donât recommend...
Read moreIt was a hot and sunny day in Rome, my husband and I (both Asians) walked past the restaurant holding an umbrella after our visit to Vatican. The staff at the entrance said to me: âItâs not rainy!â with a laugh. We thought he was rude so we asked him for an apology, but he refused and went back into the restaurant. I doubt if he would do the same to people with white skin? When I browsed through the previous reviews, I came across the one attached. Looks like we were not the only one, the staff is obviously...
