I hate to be this person but DO NOT GO HERE!!! It was me and my partner’s first night in Rome and we stopped into this place after reading (mostly) good reviews. We ordered drinks and our food and not long after a group got up and said a few things to the staff quite politely while gathering their things to leave (before ordering anything). A few more words were said THEN a full blown altercation broke out with multiple people needing to pull the chef and staff off the customer and vice versa. It was loud and full on and very aggressive. The chef came storming out and yelling and got in the customers face. After this the customers left and nothing else about it was said to us from the staff except ‘sorry’ while smirking. We wanted to leave however felt uncomfortable doing so as we had glasses of wine and had ordered food.
Our starter came out (see picture) and we asked if we could cancel the mains and pay for the starter and the wine. We were told the mains were ready so we couldn’t do that.
The starter was burnt and the worst ‘bruschetta’ I’ve ever been served. We didn’t eat it and told them that it was too burnt. There was no offer to remake it or to replace it with something else.
The mains were fine. Nothing special.
The whole ordeal at the start was confronting to watch and made us feel very uncomfortable. The staff after kept standing outside to debrief about it which is very unprofessional. The chef and staff from inside that were involved did not ask us if we were okay or offer any kind of apology for the abhorrent behaviour. To behave like that in front of customers and genuinely make them feel unsafe without any mention of it after is disgusting.
On top of that the bruschetta was awful and we were charged for it. Absolutely horrible experience and the WORST dinner I...

We came here for dinner tonight during a week trip in Rome. The place looked great online and we were excited to try it as they have Naples style pizza. We got the Supplí, Gnocchi with a smokey red sauce, and a Bufalina pizza which all tasted amazing and our plates were left empty. The service started out promising as we were sat down promptly, and didn’t have to wait too long for our order to get taken and for the food to arrive. The end of our dining experience is where things changed. The following is taking from another review back in May that sums up what happened:
But I got kind of upset at the end. When I asked for the bill, I realized that i was charged 10% service charge, which is printed on the menu in very, very small letters' fine.! But then, now comes the best part, the waitress asks me if she can add a tip on the bill, I say, is already on the bill, she says I DONT GET THAT.. Roma has plenty of good restaurants. Never will go bak to DIECI DODICI AND 50.
In our experience, our bill had the 10% added, and our waiter with no hesitation asked for an additional tip and walked away. Confused, because this is first time during our entire trip a waiter asked for a tip, we pulled out a 5 euro bill and placed it on the table. Before we even left, the waiter came back and grabbed it right in front of us, like he was watching from inside. The food was tasty, but overall the service and atmosphere lacked a possible return back for us, especially if we were tricked into a Tourist trap for only...
Read moreSave your money, and go elsewhere. Very disappointing. Servers forgot to bring ordered drinks (waited 15 minutes). The server that took our order disappeared, and we had to repeat our order to another server. They also kept getting confused about what food we ordered, repeatedly insisting that we’ve ordered 2 pizzas, instead of 1. Service is not just slow - it’s non-existent. We had to ASK the server to give us forks to eat the salad that he brought (maybe he expected us to eat it with our bare hands).
Pizza boscaiola dough was undercooked, sauce is too sour, meat is rubbery - this is unacceptable pizza quality by Italian standards (it’s so bad that I couldn’t even finish it).
Carbonara was alright, but nothing special. Minestrone soup is slightly over salted, and lacked flavour. Green salad was mediocre, and no salt, olive oil, or balsamic vinegar was provided...
