We just sat down with our sleeping infant in the car seat and 5 year old son to have some coffee and ice cream (14:30 in the afternoon). The weiter (an older baldish guy), asked us if we plan to eat, beacuse this is not a bar!!!! And pointed that the bar is down the road!!! There were plenty of free tables, and he refused to serve us. Rare t bone steak was a let down, it was red but not bleeding, knife wouldn't cut thru a mushroom, French fries arrived as I finished my dinner, it was very busy, maybe as we were tourist we were not made to feel welcome, also a dog was allowed into the restaurant, when they had outside heated area for that. Sono andato a cena con alcuni colleghi e abbiamo passato una serata davvero piacevole. Il locale è elegante, ben frequentato e al tempo stesso accogliente, con un’atmosfera che mette subito a proprio agio.

La carne merita una menzione speciale: fassona di qualità superiore, diversi tagli disponibili, cottura perfetta e sapore eccezionale. Ognuno di noi ha scelto un piatto diverso, e tutti siamo rimasti colpiti dalla bontà e dalla cura nella preparazione. Le porzioni sono abbondanti e la qualità della materia prima è evidente dal primo assaggio.

Anche gli altri piatti – dagli antipasti ai contorni – erano ben curati, ma è sulla carne che il locale dà davvero il meglio di sé. Ottima anche la carta dei vini, che completa un’esperienza di alto livello senza risultare mai pretenziosa.

Non ho scattato foto da allegare: l’eleganza dell’ambiente e la cura del servizio mi hanno fatto percepire che sarebbe stato quasi fuori luogo interrompere la cena con il telefono in mano. A volte è meglio vivere il momento con i colleghi e lasciare che resti impresso nei ricordi più che nelle immagini.
