Fiammetta — Restaurant in Rome

I was staying at an Airbnb place near Piazza Navona and my host suggested me to have dinner at this place. I was not disappointed at all.

We loved our Pasta and Pizza. I had a pasta with Pesto suace and a white sauce. You must try the house wine here. Myself and my family are vegetarian so I cannot comment on the meat based dishes. Also try the house wine which is very reasonably priced. This place had the best Creme Caramel I have ever had in my life.

This place is filled with local. Moreover, this places has been in business for 70 years now. In a restaurant business, that is unlikely.

Pleasantly surprised by this place! I work in the area and asked a colleague for a lunch recommendation nearby that wouldn’t be too touristy/expensive. This place definitely fit the bill! Food and service both great, and we really liked the pleasant laidback atmosphere. The waiters are regular Roman waiters, they might joke around with you and might not be overly friendly, but they’re efficient and were kind enough to us. We had a very nice dinner at an outside table. We arrived without reservation at 7:40 PM. All other outside tables were reserved. The staff was very welcoming and spoke English. It appears they also have local patronage, not just tourists. We had pizza margherira, melanzane alla parmigiana, a 3/4 liter of white table wine and a bottle of water, all for 30 Euros.
