Fantastic place with fantastic food and great verity of live music gigs, but....not cheap (nor super expensive). We were 3 sitting in the stage side where you can see the live performance (which was great) and for that we paid 3.5eur each instead of 1 Eur for the table. That's fine of course. The food -small 1st course, plus pasta carbonara (great but a bit "heavy"), plus a glass of white wine, plus water (plus the table charge) ended up to be almost 40 Eur per person. Besides that, we had a great time! Check the performance list on their website and book in advance (it gets full quickly).

From Roma with love... 🏠cozy and familiar place with simple design that doesn’t have any relation with the name of restaurant (no jazz band) 🍽 italian restaurant with delicious food and fresh products, (clams with garlic and tomatoes sauce and wine white, spaghetti di fruto di mare with white fish and mushroom risotto were fantastic and big portions as you can see 📷 ), 👥good service and friendly staff and speak English, Spanish and his manager is very friendly and kind, food arrived in time. 💶€€

Well this is a hidden gem IMO. It doesn’t have the old world Italian street cafe charm necessarily but a great atmosphere and a nice covered outdoor eating area. We have eaten two meals here so far during our stay in Rome. The food is fantastic and the service was very fast and friendly. The caprese salad was very tasty and we have tried the pizza and lasagna - both fantastic! They play good music and even had a band last night. Check it out!

We were walking all over Rome and when the hunger hit, we desperately searched for a place to eat. We entered this place thinking we would be fine, but we should've known better. First, no one even bothered to help us seat. We understand the place was absolutely crowded, and that may have hindered their service, but in no way excuses not showing people who are already halfway through your restaurant a table. When that happened, it seemed to be the restaurant's owner (who seemed to be actually working hard, so props to him). We tried going to a table further down, with a bit more space, but he denied, said that one was for 4 people (even though it could be split and made for 2) and made us sit in a table so cramped between two other tables that I had to squeeze myself and almost drag the table cloths with me. Then came the waiter (finally). We asked for a pizza and a seafood pasta, no drinks. Waiter said they couldn't serve us if we didn't ask for drinks with the food. And the drinks were a tad expensive. Actually, all the foods were a good bit above your average price. I complied, mainly because getting out of that tight spot (literally) was too much trouble at that point. The pasta came in about 5 minutes. It was well-served enough and hot, but just not so well-made as we expected from the price. The pizza took 25 minutes or more. It was unnerving, but comprehensible, since there was a lot of people. The pizza was hot, tasty and really well served. The olive oil bottle, by the way, was so greasy I was afraid I'd drop it while pouring it. We even thought about getting a dessert, but changed our...

Just finished eating here and the pizzas were good. The pasta was ok. Unfortunately the dining experience was ruined by the owner. A guy in a blue shirt sat next to us (the restaurant was basically empty) in the middle of our meal. It was apparent that he was the owner. He initially didn’t order anything and sat so close to us for about 20 mins, but then ate his food the employees brought over. Once he finished part of the meal, he continued to sit there, literally two feet away. Once we paid the bill he conveniently got up, with food still on his plate, checked our money with the waiter and left the restaurant. The whole experience felt racist. He talked to everyone else in the restaurant but didn’t say a word to us. Just left once his waitress verified we paid. If you’re with Black people do not eat here. The owner will profile and sit next to you when there are many other tables open. He will assume you won’t pay although you pay and tip the waitress. Do not eat here, there are other restaurants where the owners won’t be close enough in a semi empty restaurant to profile and watch you. Especially when you pay cash and tip. Tourist trap and friendly waiters, but it seems the owner doesn’t want Black...

Five stars might not be enough for this gem! While on a music tour in Rome, one of our choir members saw this spot from the bus and decided that if we had time, we should try it out. We’re all American and we have limited Italian language skills but somehow the next day we found ourselves there after our performance in the Vatican. The live music hadn’t started yet, but it was okay because even the recorded music was giving great vibes. We ordered drinks, and they were absolutely delicious! Shortly after the live music started and the evening of elation commenced. When we first arrived, I don’t think we had a plan of how long we’d stay, but the next thing we knew, we’d ordered food and more drinks (all amazing) and we had moved closer to the music in the front of the house. If you are in Rome, this is the place to spend an evening! We got to see “The Fatimah’s” (Fatimah Provillon, singer; Emiliano Pari, keys and vocals; Stefano Corrías, drums; and Danilo Bigioni, drums) and loved every second! Now that I’m looking at the other groups online, it appears that you really can’t go wrong. Great place for a date or a group (there were seven of us) Go check it out,...
