Food Box — Restaurant in Rome

In the Testaccio market, tenant number 66, Food Box has the best suppli and artichokes I've ever had during my 7-day trip in Rome. The suppli had a flavour of fennel and were cheesy on the inside and crispy on the outside. I had carbonara, cacio e pepe, and classics. The artichoke had seasoning on top and was tender and flavorful. In two minutes, everything was served after being freshly fried. They displayed the ingredients they used and kept the kitchen clean. The staff, although not knowing any English, was incredibly helpful and kind. To communicate, we can just utilise Google Translate. Il paradiso dei supplì e dei sapori romani Il food box 66 Roma mercato Testaccio è un vero e proprio tempio del gusto, dove si possono gustare i migliori supplì di Roma, senza ombra di dubbio. Ma non solo: qui troverete anche altri piatti tipici della tradizione romana, tutti preparati con ingredienti di alta qualità e con una cura maniacale per la stagionalità. I supplì sono semplicemente irresistibili: croccanti fuori e morbidi dentro, con un ripieno di riso e mozzarella che si scioglie in bocca. Ma non sono gli unici piatti da provare: i carciofi alla giudia sono perfetti, mentre in estate si possono gustare i fiori di zucca alla romana, con mozzarella e alici, oppure alla napoletana (sciorilli), con delicata ricotta.
