This is not an authentic korean restaurant, however, I found this restaurant is much better than other korean restaurants at roma. I’m korean, so I know how the real korean dishes should taste. But generally the korean restaurants in roma are not serving really good quality. Also, most of them are located near termini with not so nice vibe, targeting tourists (most of the guests are korean tourists who misses the local food during the travel so they don’t really expect a good quality there. I found most of korean restaurants in oversea use pre-made ingredients that come from a vacuum package.) At least this restaurant served better quality of foods. Even if the menu is slightly twisted to appeal to locals, I think the owner is really aware of the korean cuisine and culture (for instance they serve somaek). The foods are a bit less spicy (which is good for the people who are not used to eat spicy foods), but the fundamental composition of the foods are still Korean style. I really liked this foods and would definitely go again :-) (The only thing weird was they use chopsticks in...
Read moreThis place is a weird Korean/Italian fusion, and it doesn't really work. If you're not familiar with Korea, I guess it's okay.. In that case, it's still just a boring Italian restaurant with a Korean theme. I didn't see any Koreans.
I get what they're trying to do.. It's obviously here to appeal to Italians. It's just not a great choice if you're wistful for a more traditional Korean atmosphere, or if you miss hearing the language, or if you want something that feels like actual Korean.. The menu felt like it was all over the place.
They have a dish called "Udon" which is... Almost like Jjampong? I don't know.. I don't understand what was going on here. Jjampong would have been perfect.
You've got to pay extra if you want kimchi. It's not just a part of the...
Read moreWe visited this restaurant because of our three year old baby during the travel in Rome. As a Korean family, we really enjoyed the food and the food was pretty much authentic although it might have been intended to be a bit of Korean-Italian fusion (Maybe we ordered some pure Korean menus only). The restaurant interior was also quite decent and luxurious. We visited here again next day to have a take away menu for our baby just before leaving for Naples. The owner/chef was an old Korean immigrant lady who was really kind and sweet to us and our baby. We enjoyed chatting with her during our visit. If you are a Korean and tired of pizza and pasta while traveling, it is worth visiting here to have some...
