Gusto di Roma - Ristorante e Pizzeria — Restaurant in Rome

Brutta esperienza, tranne il ragazzo che serve la cena che è molto dolce. So, we arrived in the restaurant, we asked if we they had a table for two. The guy who recieved us was very kind and asked if we wanted to stay inside or outside. We said inside, since it is little bit chilly. But the girl who stand at the cashier said, no place inside only outside. We looked at the restaurant and is all empty, there were only two persons inside the restaurant. To make it short, we decide to stay and take the place outside. After we finished eating, i notice and heard there were 4 italians who asked the waitres, if there were free table, and I notice that the girl who refuse the table for us before to sit inside, is giving the table to this 4 italians. Before when we asked they said no tables only outside. For me this is realy racist and disgusting. Very bad behaviour from the girl and i will never step to this restaurant ever again. And before i forget, when we left, the restaurant is still empty. I hope the owner take notice and be improve with the service. We are costumer who pay and...

We try and go here on the weekends so we can guarantee another perfect pizza date. Besides the best bang for your buck price wise, they still use the freshest and best toppings like preCovid times. As well as having some of the kindest staff in the area they have a great menu for pastas and extras as well. Quanti ricordi associati a questo ristorante! La Maremma di Via Alessandria riapre nello stesso posto ed a cura del precedente gestore che, a questo punto, suppongo sia il proprietario dei locali stessi. Il personale credo sia cambiato (del resto sono passati talmente tanti anni) ma una volta varcata la soglia si ritrovano (pressappoco) le stesse atmosfere e (più marcatamente) gli stessi gusti di un tempo. Dalla carta fa sfoggio di sé il vecchio logo e fanno capolino antichi cavalli di battaglia.

Per chi invece non ci fosse ancora mai stato, si tratta di un menu che spazia tra Toscana e Campania, passando -ovviamente- anche per Roma. La scelta è completa: antipasti, primi, secondi, contorni, dolci e... pizze, sia in versione bassa (alla romana) che alta (alla napoletana) con opzione di cornicione farcito! Attendiamo il ritorno del tortino caldo al cuore di cioccolato e l'operazione revival sarà completamente riuscita.

Mi ha fatto davvero molto piacere aver potuto rivivere tanti ricordi legati a questo luogo ed a questo quartiere che frequentavo assiduamente 15/20 anni or sono ed ho potuto notare che in sala c'erano altre persone tornate esattamente per lo stesso motivo.

In conclusione, chi conosceva già il ristorante ritroverà, piacevolmente, i gusti di una volta mentre chi lo volesse provare per la prima volta ritengo sarà pienamente soddisfatto dall'offerta variegata, dall'ottima cucina e dall'attenzione...
