Good ice cream, BUT VERY DISHONEST service! Check previous reviews as we are not the first, nor the last... On 02/09, we asked for one small cup (coppetta piccola) at 3€. You cannot misinterpret this as the next size is medium (coppetta media), even with how busy and noisy the place is. The guy at the counter takes, by default, a medium cup and looks at you saying, in a hurry: "this is good?", taking advantage of the long queue and your ignorance to mislead you. Then he is asking you for 4 euros, and challenging him as to why we asked for 3 and we pay 4, he replies: "guys I checked with you, you said yes?!". Luckily, when I started talking to him in Italian, he lost his composure and swapped the ice cream to the small cup, being quite irritated. I definitely do not recommend this...

Ferris High School and former member of the 1985 rock band, the Hyper-Dudes. Enjoy Jon! LoL! This ice cream shop is located in the heart of Rome. Located 50 steps from the Colosseum, it enjoys a breathtaking view of the Colosseum and the Imperial Forums. They have lots of flavors to enjoy after a long day of touring the Colosseum and surrounding city. Immersed in art, history and characteristic alleys, the ice cream shop represents a pleasant break before and after enjoying the treasures of the wonderful city. The first time we visited the shop we ordered one small tub and one small cone but we were charged for medium sized. I thought it was a mistake. We went in today and ordered one medium tub & one medium cone and got charged for large size. I said I only wanted a medium tub & he started piling ice cream into my tub I said no I don’t want that much ice cream. So he was very rude put some of the ice cream out of the large tub into a small one. I said you have charged me for a large one. He came round the counter & took a euro out of the honesty box & as I walked out he said something about me to make the queue laugh. This guy must be on commission because you never get what you ask...

At first taste, it appears to be ice cream. It's tasty. The inside of the store had a nice mirror. The white chocolate cake with red drizzle and cream was solid but came on a premium white napkin for 4 euro. Can eat it outside by the gladiator ruins with view of the Colleseum. We realized that the Nutella flavour of gelato was literally a dollop of Nutella. At your discretion whether it is high value. My friend eating the Nutella later said he could have gone without it. My other friend says to make sure to mention this was ice cream and not gelato. The cone was valid but we're not sure if that's the standard here in Europe. Saw all kinds of people enjoying it nonetheless.

Decidi experimentar dois sabores: o Extra Black sem lactose e o Tiramissu. O Extra Black sem lactose foi uma agradável surpresa. O sabor era intensamente rico e profundo, com uma textura incrivelmente cremosa que derretia na boca. Era difícil acreditar que esse gelato não continha lactose, tamanha a sua qualidade. A intensidade do chocolate era equilibrada, não sendo excessivamente doce, o que proporcionava uma experiência de degustação sofisticada e muito satisfatória. Para aqueles que têm restrições alimentares, este sabor é uma opção imperdível, oferecendo todo o prazer de um excelente gelato sem comprometer as necessidades dietéticas. O Tiramissu, por sua vez, não ficou atrás. Este sabor capturou perfeitamente a essência da clássica sobremesa italiana. Cada colherada trazia o sabor autêntico do tiramissu, com notas de café, mascarpone e uma ligeira presença de cacau, criando uma harmonia perfeita. A textura era suave e a combinação de sabores era bem equilibrada, tornando difícil resistir a terminar o potinho rapidamente. A Gelateria da Costanza não só se destaca pela qualidade de seus produtos, mas também pelo ambiente acolhedor e o atendimento simpático. Os funcionários foram atenciosos e prestativos, sempre dispostos a explicar sobre os diferentes sabores e a oferecer amostras para ajudar na escolha. Em resumo, a Gelateria da Costanza é um verdadeiro achado em Roma. Os sabores são deliciosos e a atenção aos detalhes, especialmente com opções sem lactose, é louvável. Honestly one of the best gelatos in Rome! Didn’t think of it much at first as it’s so close to Colosseum and in a very touristic place! But oh my…! The very first scoop of it disappeared in moments and we went back for a second helping! They have a great variety of flavours, we absolutely loved their rich flavoursome dark chocolate, scrumptious pistachio and amazing coconut gelato! They also have a great variety of other desserts and fresh fruits as well as fresh lemonades! Kids loved the mixed fruits and the lemonade too! If you are visiting Roman forum and Colosseum definitely walk up to this place! It’s a true gem of Rome!

Honestly one of the best gelatos in Rome! Didn’t think of it much at first as it’s so close to Colosseum and in a very touristic place! But oh my…!
