I don't know where to start. We should have checked the reviews! We were annoyed with our booking being done over at another restaurant and found ourselves here at the biggest tourist trap of them all. Water was 4euro (we were given it after requesting tap) Cokes were 6euro each. Service was slow and painful. Clearly, staff did not want to be there. Everyone was on their phones and ignoring the customers. We have been in Italy for 2 weeks now and have had excellent pizza wherever we have gone, not the case here. Heavy base with average quality toppings it did not hit the spot, and we found ourselves hoping to finish the meal and get our 18euro each worth. We saw who we assumed the owner was wringing out the staff on the upper deck, and it changed nothing. We were clearly not the only ones disappointed. One table straight up left the building due to slow service. All of this is forgivable for the view of the Colosseum, which we were not even able to sit near as the table were for the reserved customers(oh the irony) and evrry single person that walked in asked to sit there and each were refused. We were there for 1 hour due to the slow food coming out, and not a single table on the edge was filled with people who had reserved the table. 0/10 do not recommend.
