Kimi Sushi Experience — Restaurant in Rome

After several days of Italian cuisine during our stay in Rome we wanted to try something different and found good reviews about this kimi sushi experience place. We went there but found out that the sushi wasn't tasty at all. The fish was not fresh. I have tasted sushi in a lot of places in my life but never was it this bad. Even though we were the only customers at the time (we were early) we still got the wrong dishes that we did not order.

Some of the staff was kind towards us, but most didn't speak a word english and we noticed these specific people giving us the side eye when they noticed that we did not speak Italian either.

After a few dishes we both started to feel nausious, and decided to leave. We both felt sick that very evening after tasting the sushi here. The place looks nice but avoid it at all cost if you don't like to be sick. I'm sure Rome has better...

After days in Rome eating pizza and pasta, my husband and I were craving for sushi and Asian food. We found out this beautiful restaurant just near one of the main stations in Rome, the Tiburtina Station, and we can definitely say it’s a hidden gem! The restaurant is gorgeous with really nice gold furnitures and the food was amazing. The fish was absolutely fresh and the sauces were outstanding. The quality of the food in general was excellent. We had the opportunity to chat with the main chef just to find out that he’s worked for the best sushi in Rome for more than 15 years before coming to Kimi. HIDDEN GEM!

Wow ! Amazing food and such wonderful service. Interiors are absolutely gorgeous and the owner Mario and the family are so so attentive and go that extra mile to ensure a truly memorable meal!

We were staying at the radisson blu and took a taxi under 10 minutes as we wanted to avoid the extremely busy city centre.

The sashimi platter and salmon tartare were an absolute delight. Extremely reasonably priced we did the all you can eat for €30 per person and it was definitely good value for money.

Thank you for a wonderful meal despite turning up during closing hours Kimi gave us such a warm welcome without feeling rushed and the waitress with a smile.
