I was excited to have had found a sushi place. However, the way I was treated led me to pay for my water and leave.
Note: I don't speak Italian... Yet no other restaurant or store has had an issue answering my questions or helping me order.
I was given an interactive menu on an iPad, and as I was trying to familiarize myself with it, the server kept rushing me and kept tapping on the screen... Even when I was bringing up the pages I wanted to understand.
He literally was not letting me look at the parts of the menu (home page) to understand
Sad, because I really thought I would have liked this place.
The menu wasn't telling me much and there was nobody I could ask for clarification.
I finally got the waiter's attention so I could pay for the water... and suddenly they had someone who offered to help.
Too late. I won't tolerate someone treating me like a child and hiding information from me... like someone trying to run up a bill... and my trust was so broken at this time that I went around the corner to eat.
By the way, I wound up going to Sarap... a really good Filipino restaurant - so there is a...
Read moreThis one was quite difficult to review... I mean, the food is good, the place is good, it's right by St. Peter so it's very easy to get here, but there's something it didn't really get me to say "Whoa dude, y'all missing out an epic meal by not coming", I'm still trying to figure out what exactly...
The overall quality of the food served is good and everything is quite tasty. The Katsudon was a bit salty (probably due to an excess of soy sauce), I have had better at other places, but it's not that bad. There are dishes you can't find in other all-you-can-eat restaurants, like Takoyaki.
It's a bit expensive compared to other places, but it's right by the subway (A line) near St. Peter basilica, so I wasn't really disappointed by that. I should also mention that by ordering one coke, all the cokes following the first one are served for free, meaning you get all-you-can-eat all-you-can-drink...
Read more5 stars only because of the cute girl on reception (don’t want her to feel bad , she tried to save the night). but let me tell you the guy who served us was the WORST rudest person ever in years of travelling . I was shocked , didn’t know that’s possible in 21st century . Nearly throwing plates on table , treating us like we owe him something from the very beginning, this was something personal because I don’t see any logical reason behind this behaviour . Why were the lady on reception apologising when the person whose behaviour spoiled everything continued to be aggressive and throwing slurs left and right thinking that we don’t understand. Over all food was ok, price range is ok (€27 for all-you-can-eat), fantastic interior design choice, good explanations on how their system works. But the disappoint from awful treatment canceled all good...
