I recently had the pleasure of visiting this café during my honeymoon, and I must say it was an extraordinary experience. From the moment we stepped inside, we were greeted with warm smiles and a welcoming atmosphere. This café has undoubtedly become one of my favorite places to enjoy a cup of coffee and indulge in delectable pastries.

First and foremost, the coffee served here is beyond spectacular. Each sip was a burst of rich flavors, leaving me craving for more. Whether you prefer a strong espresso or a creamy latte, they have it all. The baristas are true artisans, carefully crafting each cup with precision and passion. I was thoroughly impressed with the quality and consistency of their coffee.

Now, let's talk about the pastries - they are simply divine! From flaky croissants to decadent cakes, the café offers a wide variety of freshly baked treats. I believe their pastries rank among the best I've ever tasted. Every bite was pure bliss, and I found myself savoring the flavors long after the last crumb disappeared. It's evident that the bakers take great pride in their creations.

What truly sets this café apart, however, is the exceptional service provided by the staff. I want to give a special shout-out to Nina, who went above and beyond to make our visit unforgettable. Not only was she friendly and attentive, but she also took the time to create a personalized list of must-visit places for us. Her recommendations for local dining, attractions, and hidden gems were invaluable. Nina's genuine care and dedication truly enhanced our honeymoon experience, and we are incredibly grateful.

To Nina: Thank you so much for your outstanding hospitality and thoughtful gestures. You are an amazing human being, and I genuinely hope great things come your way.

In conclusion, this café exceeded all our expectations. The exceptional coffee, delicious pastries, and the friendliest staff make it a must-visit spot. If you're looking for a cozy atmosphere, outstanding quality, and genuine hospitality, this café is the perfect choice. I can't recommend it...

UPDATE: disappointed on this visit. Their pastries were five stars before but they are no longer special. Just average. Someone stated the chef or the baker had changed so I'm guessing that might be true. It is worth stopping for coffee and pastries (a little expensive) if you are walking by, but no longer a spot to visit out of the way.

This review is only for the bakery portion of the restaurant.

Went there twice. Each time the pastries tasted great (5stars for food). It was definitely different than Italian brioche, stronger flavor and different texture. I would definitely comeback for more.

3stars is for the service. The first time, I was served by a lady. She grabbed two croissants and they tasted fresh, soft and chewy. No issue. The next day I was served by a gentlemen. I ordered two croissants again, however he grabbed two from the back (mind you, the person in front of me was given from the front). So I kindly asked if all were baked today. To my surprise, he could longer understood my English. Well, pastries tasted good but you could definitely tell it was not baked on the same day. Got that stale and heavier taste. Maybe it is a common practice to serve old pastries but that is not the issue. Just be fair and serve first-in first-out.

Other than that, the pastries are 5 star worthy and I will go back next time...

A disappointing evening after we came here with high hopes. Perhaps we shouldn't have expected too much on a Tuesday evening but still ... We've been here (and will continue to come here) for breakfasts and brunches so celebrating a special occasion with an evening meal seemed to hold a lot of promise. Sadly, it was not to be the case. The onion soup was left under the grill for too long. The egg parfait was interesting but under seasoned. My steak was ok but the soggy fries were sent back with a half-hearted apology. The beef bourguignon was wonderfully tender and probably the best thing we had that night. The creme brulee for dessert wasn't bad either. Staff were friendly and attentive enough but it was a quiet evening and they busied themselves later by sweeping the floor and emptying the bins. Not a great look. We'll go back for the baked stuff and the cheeses but not for an evening meal. Oh, one more thing - as compensation for the fries, we were given an under-cooked pastry to take away and have for breakfast...

The menu isn’t fully translated into English — it’s more of a mix of Italian and French, with partial English interpretations of some dish names. Service left much to be desired. The waiter didn’t pay close attention when taking our order, and we ended up with the wrong tea and galette. The tea costs €5 but tasted like murky water. Coffee is served in white cups, while our tea came in a black cup on a white saucer — perhaps to hide the tea’s color. The cup was chipped. I would suggest the restaurant use matching white cups for all hot drinks. The croissant with jam was tasty. To pay, you need to go to the counter and ask the waiter for your table number. The cashier rang up the wrong bill twice before giving us the correct one.

Favorite place to have breakfast anytime I visit Rome. Their pastries is another level. Breakfast in all the hotels in Rome is really bad so I was searching for somewhere decent. Two years ago we found this restaurant and we have breakfast and brunch there anytime we visit Rome. Their pastry is amazing, we tried pain au chocolate with almonds paste this time, it was new to us. We loved it and got back the other day to have another one. Service is really good, I must say. The atmosphere is so classy and makes my day better. Try their pastries, french breakfast or brunch collection. Coffee is great, too. I haven't been for lunch or dinner there but i assume their menu must be good too.
