MABRÙ bistrot — Restaurant in Rome

We were visiting Rome and wanted to look for something local near our hotel. Luckily we came across Mabru and as we browsed the menu online we were instantly sold. We arrived early on a Saturday night and were seated outside at a lovely table by excellent service. The food was out of this world, every starter, first course and main and the wine we had exceeded our expectations. This was one of the best meals both of us have ever had and we are already trying to squueze in a lunch before we head home. I will recommend this to everyone visiting Rome as so far it's been the highlight of our trip. We would give both the service and food more than 5 stars if it was possible. Thank you for the incredible experience!

To add we had 4 courses of food, cocktail each and a bottle of wine and this was around 60-65€pp so great value...

We had a wonderful lunch at MABRÙ Bistrot, which happened to be right next to our hotel—an unexpected gem. As a couple travelling through Rome, we were especially impressed by the warm, attentive service. The staff went out of their way to accommodate us, even preparing a fresh salad that wasn’t on the menu and offering a dish from the evening menu during lunch.

The food was excellent—especially the octopus and fish, which were fresh, flavourful, and perfectly cooked. You can really taste the care that goes into each dish.

The atmosphere was relaxed and local, with most of the other diners being Italians, which made the experience feel all the more authentic. Highly recommended for anyone looking for great seafood, genuine hospitality, and a welcoming...

We had an excellent dinner at this restaurant that we ended up going a second time in the same week. The place was right across from our hotel and decided to try it on our first night, the food was fantastic! The two girls that were serving were also very pleasant and spoke perfect English. The restaurant seemed like it was visited by many locals, and you could watch the chefs at work through the window from the street.
