I must express my utmost disappointment and frustration with the abysmal experience I had at this restaurant. It was a complete letdown from start to finish, leaving me questioning their commitment to customer satisfaction.
Upon arrival, I was foolishly optimistic despite the obvious signs of disorganization. To my dismay, I ended up waiting for an excruciatingly long time, close to an hour, and my food was still not served. The restaurant was far from being packed, making this delay entirely unjustifiable. It felt as if my time and presence were of no importance to the staff.
To add insult to injury, the two bottles of water I ordered to quench my thirst were gone before the first glimpse of my meal. How can a supposedly reputable establishment fail so miserably in providing basic refreshments while making their customers wait endlessly? It was an utter disgrace.
This experience has left me questioning the competence and professionalism of the management and staff. Is it too much to ask for a smoothly run operation that respects the valuable time and money of its patrons? Clearly, this restaurant falls short in that regard.
I write this review not to discourage others, but rather to caution potential customers about the subpar service and lack of regard for customer satisfaction that I experienced firsthand. If you value your time and expect even a modicum of competence from a dining establishment, I strongly advise you to look elsewhere.
It is my sincere hope that this scathing feedback serves as a wake-up call to the restaurant's management, prompting them to reevaluate their practices and make substantial improvements. No customer should endure the sheer disappointment and frustration that I had to endure at this...
Read moreIt was our last night in Rome and we wanted some place special to eat. We walked around looking at places high and low, feeling like Goldilocks at the 3 bear's house - some places were too hot and some too cold. Then, like a golden ray of sunshine glowing at eventide, there, on the corner with a gentle breeze beckoning, stood Maestro's Bistro with its gleaming wine bar and quaint nod to Old World design. Antiqued glass graces the walls as backdrops to an evening that will remind you of fine dining more than a bistro experience. Live roses of red spring forth on each table encouraging an ambiance of intimacy which passers-by must peek in their stroll, making a mental note to stop in with a special one or bring important colleagues on their next business trip. My husband and I drank beautiful drinks to cheer and celebrate the conclusion of a trip to a place I'd never been. The music of Mestros, its cultivated old-meets-new world fusion and Anna Maria, our truly beautifully spirited Hostess-of-the-Affairs-of-Cuisine-and-Handcrafted-Spirit-Concoctions, served us a delightful assortment of dishes all cultivated from recipes handed down a generation at a time. What a moment in time! Needless to say, I could go on and on, but I'll let the photos do the rest (if Google allows). Buena Notte a...
Read moreI would like to share my personal bad experience. We were ready to order and after 20 minutes of wait no one was coming to take our order. So we asked a guy (tall with beard and dark hair, dressed with a black shirt and pants and white sneakers) to take our order and he said two minutes with an impatient tone like if we were disturbing him. The worst part was that the restaurant was not busy at all. If it were packed, I would have completely understood the situation but it clearly wasn’t. All he was doing was walking around back and forth pretending to be busy. His behaviour only proved how unprofessional and disorganised he was. This experience has been nothing but disappointing and we would not recommend it at all to anyone. You better go eat other places (there are plenty nearby) where people have a clue of what they are doing and how to speak in a proper way with the client. Apart from him, the girl who served us has been extremely kind and nice and most important KNOWS HOW TO DO HER JOB PROPERLY. It’s such a pity that she has to work with incompetent people like him that ruins the reputation of the restaurant....
