McQueen Food&Drink — Restaurant in Rome

This was my first time visiting this place, and I was excited to try a Mexican beer. I asked the waitress, a short lady, for a recommendation on which Mexican beer to try. Her response was incredibly rude—she dismissively told me that the bartender wouldn't add salt or lemon to the beer.

We were a group of four, and I decided not to order anything after her attitude. She didn't even bother to check back later to see if I needed anything else. This experience completely ruined my impression of the place.

I was actually scouting this location for my birthday celebration, where I planned to invite 30 people. However, after this incident, I will never come back, and I will also advise my American friends to avoid this place. I cannot recommend it...

I came for a beer lately in the evening. I like Pilsner type of beer.

They offer 3 German Lager styles; 1 German IPA and 1 Czech Pilsner type of beer.

Since Lager beers taste more watery and IPA is a super strong one shot; real beer to drink remains Czech - Bakalář.

They do not serve Jameson as Irish whiskey. They offered Paddy 🥃 instead, not bad; but Jameson suits with beer better.

We ended up eating here only because it was next door to our accommodation and we were too tired to find anything else. We had no expectations and ended up having the most authentic dinner here. The snacks are amazing (try the different types of toasts!) and I loved their home made chips. The wine selection was excellent and the service was so thoughtful and kind.
