Ristorante Pizzeria Al Cupolone is the perfect spot for those seeking an authentic Italian experience, combining refined cuisine, excellent service, and a cozy atmosphere. I wholeheartedly recommend this establishment to all lovers of Italian cuisine and anyone wanting to enjoy a magnificent view of Rome.
The interior of the establishment creates an atmosphere of coziness and traditional Italian style. Bright walls, refined decor elements, and wooden furniture accents contribute to a pleasant setting for dining. The splendid view of St. Peter's Dome adds a romantic touch to the place.
The menu of the restaurant amazed with a variety of Italian dishes, ranging from classic pastas and pizzas to exquisite meat and fish dishes.
The service was top-notch. The waitstaff were attentive and friendly, always ready to offer recommendations on dish and wine choices. Especially amazing and charming waitress KETI.
Prices at the restaurant, while slightly above average, completely justify the quality of the offered dishes and the level of service. I believe this place is worth...
Read moreIt was empty when we arrived but very quickly filled up. The service was quick and they all spoke English which was a shame, the food was fairly cheap and good but not our best in the area. We ordered stuffed olives and they came breaded with some form of stuffing in them, see the photo, I can't say we overly enjoyed them but they were something different to try! They didn't have aircon but had a few big fans to help with the heat. Sadly they played English old music once we had sat down, I think for us, but we would have much preferred Italian music. Location is great as you can see the top of the basilica in Vatican City through the window. We were all given a shot of limoncello and a small macaroons type sweet with the bill which was lovely. We didn't finish our pizzas but they offered to wrap them up for us to go but we were heading for the airport straight afterwards so sadly...
Read moreThis was the best restaurant we ate at the entire month we were in Rome. Valentino and Keti provided service that went above and beyond. Keti brought me a cappuccino and explained it was very special because she had made it with love. She meant every word she said and the cappuccino was nothing short of fabulous. Valentino recommended a dish for my friend that was veal in a light white sauce and she said it was excellent. I had their 4 meat pizza and it was excellent. What made it so good was the crust was crisp, the bread heavenly and the sauce….well, I wish I knew how to make a sauce that good. I highly recommend any visitor to the Vatican City area of Rome, stop by and have the best meal...
