Officina Naturale — Restaurant in Rome

We found this little gem of a café and delicatessen quite by chance. It's new, modern, splendidly clean, and bright and fresh inside. They're apparently obsessed by the freshest of ingredients, and the coffee was the best I've yet had in Rome. They also gave us two little complimentary cakes that were simply lovely. The service was very friendly, they clearly have enormous pride in their food, and it was full of eager locals.

Great people who served us a good meal despite closing for the day and the the fact that we didn't speak a word of Italian. Food was freshly made and as healthy as one can get in a city. I would recommend it for anyone who wants to support a local restaurant trying to provide good, healthy food. Il problema, che è il motivo anche della review è un altro.

Poteva essere una bella trovata per la zona, sfortunatamente manca l'educazione civica della struttura,di chi ci lavora e di chi la gestisce considerato che vengono abbandonati rifiuti di ogni tipo per strada ad ogni ora della giornata. Neanche il ristorante cinese davanti fa un tale scempio, anzi, da loro è sempre tutto pulito.

Da abitante e fruitore di locali della zona ricordo che l'abbandono di rifiuti in strada è un reato PENALE in testa a chi viene colto, e in sua assenza al rappresentante legale della struttura che ha determinato il fatto, e che dato il protrarsi della situazione (che magari poteva essere comprensibile all'inizio dell'attivita del bar) il tutto è stato segnalato alle autorità competenti.

Un consiglio a chi al naturale ci tiene davvero? State lontani da chi inquina maleducatamente per tutto il circondario in questo modo una delle zone centrali più belle...
