It’s so far the most impressive meal we have had in Rome. It’s a Tuesday night and a lot of other restaurants in the area were empty yet this place was busy - and you would understand why once you step in. Our host/waiter/ragazzo-si-sala all in one guy Ricky runs the entire show taking care of all full 10 tables in this neighborhood gem. As busy as he was, he tended to details of our needs. He recommended food (including gluten free meals) and drinks, gave us complementary appetizers and desserts - he was a big part of the charm of this place provides! The dishes are all delicious and very very reasonably priced. Ricky amazed us by running this one person show the whole night with grace and ease. He certainly deserves a double salary since he was doing what it would take 2-3 people to do in other places! It’s obvious a local favorite but tourists like me immediately falls in love with. Come and you’ll not be disappointed!!!

We've been here at this tiny but cute restaurant because a friedmnd recommended it. It's not located within the tourist attractions so you have to walk a little bit. It's very nice decorated inside, outside can sit ~20 people. The waiter was very friendly and the service was good. We were 6 Persons and ordered the surprise menu 4x and the food was enough for all of us 6. Everything was delicious and "real Italian food", not like food you sometimes get in tourist Hotspots. The only negativ thing was the price which was utterly expensive. They charge 15% service fee (but it's clearly visible in the menu). Seems like the drinks are very high-priced and since there is no drinks menu you don't know in advance. But we had a nice evening so it's all good. We would definitely come back to this nice restaurant. Thank you!

Charming Atmosphere, Exceptional Service, Decent Fare Piccolo Abruzzo is a delightful dining spot exuding a cozy ambiance that sets the perfect tone for a relaxing meal. The service here was truly exceptional; we were treated to complimentary dishes that pleasantly surprised us. Our server added an entertaining flair to the experience, making our visit even more enjoyable. While the food was good, it didn't quite reach the excellence we've encountered elsewhere. Nevertheless, the overall experience was positive, and we're inclined to return for another delightful evening at Piccolo Abruzzo. Tags: Charming Atmosphere, Exceptional Service, Decent Fare

We went there to have dinner last night. Five of us, 3 adults and two kids (8 and 12,) ordered chicken, pasta and 1kg T bone steak. The meal cost us Euro230! It’s overpriced! The pasta and chicken were fine but the 1kg T-bone steak was terrible. First of all, I’m not sure it’s T-bone steak. I didn’t see the T bone but a plateful of sliced meat. It was also poorly cooked. The steak had no flavor at all and the meat was chewy. I asked for medium but it was between rare and medium rare when it came out. What a disappointment! For people looking for meals in this area, they should avoid this restaurant.

The owner gave me a nasty reply back thru my email somehow I can’t find it here. He or she questioned me why we finished everything. Obviously it’s not true. Half of the steak was left on the plate not consumed. In this review above, I mentioned chicken and pasta are fine. That’s why we finished it. It’s overpriced for the quality of the food. As a consumer, I have the right to express my opinion about...

Tourists take note a 20% service charge will be added to your bill so do not tip. The waiter was lukewarm but that did not bother us, we have had excellent, friendly service in some places and terrible in others, just like at home it’s sometimes a gamble. We had the Bucatini Amatriciana which was very salty and the pasta was more than al dente in some bites. It was ok. The “spring” lamb was minuscule and were cut into medallions and pan fried until overdone. The lamb was served with fishy smelling French fries, not good. After the pasta and halfway through the lamb they brought us a basket of bread that we did not ask for and then they charged us for it. I have noticed they ripped off other people whose reviews I read here so we are not the only ones. Steer clear, there are many other restaurants who welcome visitors and treat...
