Pizza Boom — Restaurant in Rome

The charm you would expect at this store is quickly dwindled after you caustically bump into them when they run out to spastically serve the various patrons and lowlives inhabiting this cramped store. It has a tone of desperation, the food variety is impressive, yet cheap, and some of the staff are performatively rude almost as if they are paid just to hate on customers. I really like the interiors, and the food looks unusually cool in the windows. Still, whatever traditionalism at play here is overshadowed by a sinister meanness that I can only characterize as dark and deranged. Maybe they just work too hard. A perfect simple place, with very good food for acceptable prices. We found this place on our first day in Rome and have been here once a day for a whole week. All we have tried so far has been delicious (pizza, pasta, plain pizza bread, suppli - the fried rice balls, vegetables and rice, meat balls…). The waiters/waitresses very helpful, always smiling with perfect attitude. If we are back in Rome one day we will make sure to come back - this place is one of the many things that made our week here pleasant and unforgettable...

Wow first place in Rome where the food was terrible. Went here because of all the reviews but was disappointed. The lasagne was sour and tasted like lemon juice was put in it. The pizza smelled like fish and the scent was so strong we couldn't eat it. The meatballs were filled with something else other than meat.
