Trastevere Gallery Suites — Hotel in Rome

We stayed 3 nights as a family of four. Communication before arrival was excellent and when we had trouble booking a family room for the whole stay online, this was quickly resolved. We arrived at around 9:30 so no one was physically at the property to check us in but messages were sent beforehand with detailed instructions and the process was straightforward. Very close to the train station and tram stops which was handy. ||Decent sized room which were kept impeccably clean throughout our stay. Only slight downside was the bathroom was very small. ||Breakfast was bought to the room everyday during a choice of time slots and a good selection was provided including hot drinks, orange juice, pastries, yoghurt and granola pots, sandwiches and some smaller snacky bits which our children ate. ||The only negatives I would point out are, the noise in our room 103 was very loud some nights with traffic, trams and people talking and shouting in the street. It sounded as though the window had been left open but when checked were secure. The air conditioning also didn’t work properly during our stay. We did mention this to the staff there who said they would take a look but nothing changed during our stay. This made the room quite hot at night with four of us in there. ||Overall a...

Everything was perfect! Where to start from! Let me think! Very easy to find the place as Helena send you exact info how to come in and what to expect! Very nice and clean rooms! Hot water available! Clean and fresh towels and bed sheets! There is parking available all around the area! Marco & Helena from the hotel will give you all the necessary information you need to know! Breakfast was beyond expectations as everything they brought to us was so unbelievably fresh! Nice coffee, tasty juice! Generally, I am not an easy costumer but with this hotel, i was impressed! We were encountering a problem with our documents with the rental car, not relevant with the hotel and Marco (the owner), solved our issues in 5 minutes! 3km away from Colosseum and generally a nice quiet location just a breath from Rome center! *Metro station 2 min away from hotel *Buses outside the hotel *Restaurants, Cafes, Pharmacy just next to the hotel!

Liked · We spent three weeks traveling all over Europe. Germany, Switzerland, Austria, Italy, Greece, Malta... this place was by far our favorite of all the accommodations we enjoyed on our family adventures. The suites were modern, up-to-date, impeccably clean, and spacious. The bed and bedding were super-comfy, with modern decor to brighten up the rooms. The made-to-order breakfast was both generous and absolutely fantastic. Served fresh/hot, and on-time for us to enjoy in our rooms. However, perhaps the best of all was the super-friendly, and absolutely PRECIOUS host... Helena. If you don't fall in love with her, you are missing some marbles. Her communication with us in advance of our stay was excellent (she even chased us down on WhatsApp!), and her desire for us to have a great experience in Rome made us feel like "family" in an incredibly busy, far-away country.
