Me and my girlfriend asked our hotel receptionist about a good place nearby to eat dinner, and he mentioned this place. At first i researched to see how good rating the restaurant had, but I was a bit sceptical because of how little rating it has. But we wanted to give it a try.
First impression: welcoming, open place to the street. Modern place, looked great, cozy.
After sitting down a waiter named Moho came to service us. He explained the whole menu for us, and we started ordering starters, main dishes and dessert.
Moho made it like a 4 course dinner which was a good idea.
The food tasted amazing, it was tasty, fresh and very delicious!!
The service through the night was outstanding, normally we dont like to stay at a restaurant for long time, max 1 hour. but this night we stayed here for over 4 hours because of the good athmosphere and service we had. Moho managed not just to make it a good night but one of the best.
If you are hesitating like we did in the beginning, then dont worry, you will be in safe hands and have one of the best experiences you can have at a restaurant.

Read moreAll in all this was a good experience for me, so I would recommend you to choose this place for a night out. But bear with me for details:
Pros: good dishes (the codfish, the octopus pasta, spaghetti with clams etc), though the portions are a tad small even better wines the best service ever (until the payment, bear with me for this till the very end) ---shout out to Moho, who was not only super knowledgeable about everything on the menu, but also looked like the nicest guy around. Cheers Moho! Teşekkürler!
Con: We paid 175eur for 3 people. Considering the quality of food and wine we enjoyed, I think that was fair. So for the very nice service we got, we tipped 20eur extra, which I think is more than fair for EU standards. But we got nothing afterwards - neither a warm goodbye during our leave, which happened 15-20 minutes after the payment, nor a thankful shot of limoncello from the house, which would be like a kind of "thank you house - likewise guys!" anyways. That's the only downside tbh.
In the end I would recommend you to dine in here, but think twice before tipping, as folks seems to completely disappear afterwards, which was a bit of a shame. The ending should've/could've been much, much better - that's what the service, which had been 5 f*in stars up to that point, must be downgraded to 4...
Read more(2/10*) I'll start with the good things - the waiter actually smiled, which is a rare commodity in Roma, and the atmosphere was ok (thus the 2 stars)
Other than that, it was all horrible - Gordon Ramsey's Kitchen Nightmare style.
The bread was dry and hard. The aubergine with tomato sauce and cheese was cold. The pasta carbonara with truffles was tastless, cold and dull. The pasta with tomato sauce and lamb, the tomato suace was ok (nothing more) but the lamb was cold dog food meat reheated in the microwave (1000%) and not worthy of human consumption. The sparkling water was the best dish they had (hands down very good sparkling water) but the bottle served in was filthy and hasn't been properly washed for the past few years.
Service was slow, they didn't clean the table between dishes even though they noticed it was dirty with bread crumbs, they didn't change the silverware even though they saw it was dirty, and they didn't even remove the dirty napkin I used even though I clearly needed another one.
You can only call the waiter serving you, the other waiters will ignore you even though you look them in the eye.
All in all a failed attempt to have good food and a bad experience and wouldn't go back there or recommend the place.
With that said, I would really love to know where they get their...
