The visit to the recommended restaurant was very disappointing. Staff are friendly and they do try to give you a great time and be hospitable as possible. Unfortunately the food and the looks of the venue are not up to par. The restaurant is nice and stylish, minimal, but right, toilets are clean and spacious, but the bar/reception area looked a mess as well as the organization of the kitchen, with things just lying around in a disorganized manner, considering you have a kitchen that is visible, the grooming of the chefs as well as the organization and cleanliness of the kitchen should not even be a question, all the chefs were dressed and groomed completely different, making them not look like a team at all. As for the food, snacks were badly executed, 3 of them were lacking perfect technique and one was horrible (if you trying to replicate the more than seen olive spheres, at least make them taste like olive, not the algin bath, very very very poor). The tomato ravioli with the anchovies was good as was the pigeon, the fish was over cooked, the tuna was quite old and bitter from the lemon skin used, but the most disappointing dish was the dessert, at this point I asked for the bill and left... Tonca bean and blue cheese don’t work, they don’t match and it’s just soooooooo horrible to after a poor meal, serve an uninspired, badly presented and no connection of ingredients to your guests, that are paying for your prime tasting menu. The only reason I don’t point them with 1 star was the staff being friendly, wont come back or recommend, food needs more thinking process...

Dinner on 1/5/23 This was the most amazing food experience we had while in Rome. Each individual of the wait staff came to our table greeted us as they presented the courses and explained them, even if not in perfect english, they tried their absolute hardest to make sure we knew and understood what we were getting. I cannot express how helpful and nice it was for them to do that. They truly cared about what they were giving you, all very friendly and talked to us and asked us questions about our trip and what we enjoyed most in Rome and from the menu. The food was top notch, as you would expect with the Michelin star they have. All food was an experience, and all extremely tasty and provoked thought on how the flavors can be blended together. Not a single course we had was bad, all delivered and were interesting. Would highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a modern, high end food experience while in Rome. 10/10 just a...

Where to begin?... This restaurant is tucked in the inlet of a congested parking lot. Once you park and have visibility to it's intimate dining room with 2 floors, a floor-to-ceiling bookshelf, and sophisticated towering table lamps. Luckily, we sat on the 2nd floor away from the chatter of the floor and with closeness to the kitchen to see the executive/sous chef and a team of 3-4 stationary chefs. We reviewed the menu and decided to let the kitchen decide 4 courses for us. It is important to share we asked to be served a specific course in the presentation which they accommodated without hesitation. Their wine listing contained a great, fairly priced, quality wine; fair enough to purchase a bottle for the table without being too expensive. The photos speak for themselves: creative, multi-textured, colorful, surprising, and enticingly layered flavors that dance. A must for anyone who respects the art of culinary.

A gem of a fine dining restaurant tucked away in Trastevere. But don’t let the fine dining moniker put you off. They’re genuinely friendly here. They made our little one feel right at home and made him a pasta dish off menu. Bless. We had the 5 course tasting menu. Home made breads were tasty. The amuse bouche were interesting. The tomato infused liquor needed a little more oomph. The squid had a texture I had never experienced before. Soft yet meaty yet al dente. Impressive. The prawn infused risotto was a triumph. Umami bombtastic. Pigeon was perfectly cooked. The palate cleanser pre dessert was an utter revelation. The dessert of fermented black garlic ice cream and candied vegetable peels (yes you read that right) was a wonderful conclusion to an excellent meal. There were flashes of brilliance that would deserve a Michelin star. Highly recommended and definitely worth a detour from the historic centre of Rome.
