Pizzeria Romana in Italy offers a quintessential Roman-style pizza experience with a variety of options catering to different tastes, including vegetarian and vegan choices. The pizza is known for its crispy, light base, a hallmark of Roman pizza, and is made with high-quality, often organic ingredients. The toppings range from traditional to creative combinations, ensuring something for everyone. The atmosphere at Pizzeria Romana is somewhat touristic, likely due to its central location and popularity among visitors. While the staff are frequently described as friendly and accommodating, the setting can feel more like a casual eatery than an intimate dining experience. Seating is limited in many locations, often with stools or counter arrangements, making it more suitable for a quick bite rather than a leisurely meal. One downside noted by some patrons is the cleanliness of the facilities, particularly the restrooms, which could use more attention. This detracts slightly from the overall experience but does not overshadow the quality of the food. In summary, Pizzeria Romana is an excellent choice for those seeking authentic Roman pizza with plenty of variety. While it may lean towards a touristic vibe and have minor shortcomings in cleanliness, the delicious pizza and welcoming service make it worth a visit.

The prices that are written on the board are weirdly given for grams and not pieces of pizza. Me and my friend took 3 pieces of pizza together which would roughly come to about 8€ and then we took one tea and we paid 17€. When we got the bill it was not clearly stated what we paid for, it was like they have just made up the price. We think that we payed extra for the service, but it was definetly not worth more than 1 € each because there was literally no place to sit down... the tables where super small and we sat next to the toilet on small uncomfortable wooden chairs and people kept on coming by to go to the toilet and distrupting us. The staff also isnt too friendly and were acting strange when we asked them questions. They just weren't kind and didn't communicate politely (as is also seen in their response). The pizza was good .

Wanna try several types of Roman pizza? The Pizzeria Romana Al Taglio at the Via del Governo Vecchio is an ideal place. You can choose pizza rectangles with different toppings. We pick three: bacon, pecorino cheese and tomato; prosciutto, mozzarella and pine nuts; and mushrooms. The guests can eat in or take it out to the street. The dough was crispy, tasted like a well raised sourdough bread. The prosciutto ham was roasted like bacon. Pecorino was pushing through by its salty flavour. Pizza prices range from 2,50 to 5 euro per piece, depending on the topping. To satisfy hunger, one would need 3-4 pieces and he or she can go on discovering Rome. However, this place is not ideal for long dinners, where guests spend time talking over their pizzas. They accept only card payments and there is a toilet in the premises. Skúšame tri: slanina, syr pecorino a paradajka; prosciutto crudo s mozzarellou, a hubovú. Chrumkavá pizza, hrúbka medzi "rímskou" a "neapolskou".
