STAY AWAY!!!! As soon as we walked up to this place I had a bad feeling. Unfortunately I disregarded that feeling because my wife was hungry. There were a group of men standing outside exchanging a bunch of money very suspiciously. Once inside they followed us in. We ordered quickly and left. Once we left, my wife realized that in the commotion she left her bag behind. I rushed back within minutes and the man behind the counter said that he didn't have the bag. He then stated that he knew who stole the bag and described them. I then went back outside to find that everyone was gone and found our empty bag outside the door. I retrieved the bag and went back in to speak with the man and asked about the cameras on site so that I could notify the police for assistance. I was then told to wait so the owner could get involved and check the cameras. After waiting another person that was sitting in the corner walked up to see what the issue was. He spoke to the same man that told me to wait and then turned to me and told me that they didn't have working cameras. I then ask the man behind the counter what he was talking about and he also said that the cameras didn't work. I asked why I was waiting for the owner to show me the cameras if they didn't work. His response was that he had told me the cameras didn't work.. Then why was I told to wait?? This place is obviously a place the harbors and facilitates a criminal organization of some sort. A Culinary Gem in the Heart of Rome!

My recent visit to Pizza Express, located at Via Marsala 34/A-B, 00185 Roma, was an absolute delight from start to finish. Owned by the wonderful Hasan Md Nahid, this restaurant truly exceeded all expectations.

The ambiance was warm and inviting, perfect for a relaxed lunch on August 22nd, 2025, around 1:17 PM. The service was impeccable, attentive without being intrusive, making us feel incredibly welcome.

Now, let's talk about the food!

We indulged in a variety of dishes, and each one was a masterpiece:

Linguine Pesto: Perfectly cooked pasta coated in a vibrant, fresh pesto sauce. A true taste of Italy! Bisteca Manzo: A succulent and tender steak, grilled to perfection. It practically melted in my mouth! Tiramisu: The classic Italian dessert was divine, creamy and rich with just the right balance of coffee and cocoa. To accompany our meal, we enjoyed a refreshing Cola Zero/Normale and a soothing Tea. The Arancia drinks were also a hit, bursting with citrusy flavor.

The entire experience, from the friendly greeting to the final bite of Tiramisu, was exceptional. The total bill of 40.50 was more than reasonable for the quality and experience provided.

The owner is a liar. Seems happy to lie to customers. Told me I would wait 5 minutes , I double-checked and said I had to go in 10. I made sure it would take 5 minutes as he already had them boxed up and just needed to reheat. Then, when I asked 10 minutes, he pretended he didn't speak English. Only when he heard the word chargeback did he suddenly speak fluent English and told me to sit down and shut up. I ended up missing colloseum tickets and was unable to visit it. Ruined my entire holiday and my 50th birthday. I would be willing to do anything to get my money back from the guy as local tour guides said they do it all the time, and to top it off, there was spit sizzling, which I unfortunately released after my first slice, which was just as well as it tasted stone cold and was without doubt one of the worst pizza I have eaten so do not come here at all.
