This restaurant is a true gem for lovers of Italian cuisine. I was fortunate to enjoy an authentic Italian culinary journey here, and it was simply amazing.

The dishes served are a celebration of traditional Italian flavors. From perfectly crafted fresh pastas to silky risottos and succulent meats, each dish is a culinary masterpiece that transports you straight to Italy.

The secret behind this exceptional experience lies in the high-quality ingredients and the passion that the staff pours into each preparation. Each dish is an explosion of authentic flavors that make you feel like you're in a genuine Italian trattoria.

The ambiance is charming, with a cozy atmosphere and the warm hospitality of the staff. You truly feel welcomed and appreciated here.

If you're looking for an authentic Italian gastronomic experience, this restaurant is the right choice. It pays homage to Italy's rich culinary tradition that deserves to be explored and savored.

In summary, don't miss the opportunity to indulge in authentic Italian dishes at this restaurant. It's an experience that will be etched in your memory and will make you fall even more in love with...

Roman Breakfast, Layered. This was breakfast at Ristorcaffè Vecchia Roma dal 1905, a traditional Roman bar where the morning begins with ritual regularity. On the right, a coda di aragosta (lobster tail pastry) is filled with pistachio cream—its fluted shell crisps into fine shards, contrasting with the nutty, soft interior. On the left, not a classic sfogliatella, but a fagottino di sfoglia alla crema: a triangular puff pastry, oven-split at the seam, its centre filled with custard cream. Both rest on golden foil, a subtle nod to the elegance of even humble Roman fare.

The cappuccino is well-executed: dense microfoam, a clean crema ring, and no visible curdling—signs of fresh milk, proper temperature, and good emulsification. Its pale body indicates a milk-forward pour, in line with the Roman preference for a gentle, smooth start to the day. The Canon G7X in the background marks this as a traveller’s table, yet the moment is...

Delightful staff, and nice restaurant but unfortunately the quality of food is very low. The bruschetta simply didn't taste right and was drowning in oil, with one of the two pieces of bread being near-on impossible to cut in half. The minestrone soup was ok but the tortellini was almost certainly store bought and looked far from hand/home made (the inner portions were perfectly square and very processed). I'm not trying to be mean or nasty to a small local business but rather giving potential customers a heads-up of that to expect - it all tasted exactly like the packet mixes you get from the supermarket. I couldn't finish my meal as it...

Great little place for a nice evening and great food, the owners are lovely people, it's a not so hidden treasure, I've been going to Rome for a few years and stay in the same street as the restaurant but had never been until one evening we were starving after being out all day and it crossed my mind to try it, having passed it loads of times.. well! we had a great evening and go back every time we go to Rome, the food is so tasty and not expensive and the service is great. Roll on August, I'm going to be there once again!

Our first visit and definitely not our last! Amazing does not do it justice! The lasagna was made with homemade and perfectly al dente sheets, you could taste every different ingredient, the pizza...no words...delicious tomato sauce, perfect cheese pull and the dough...the dough was a game changer. I also ordered an Aperol spritz which I did not take a photo of, but was very delicious, light, but at the same time you could taste the proseco inside, not just soda. 100/10 experience!!!
