Oooh google ate my detailed review :(!

Basically this my favourite place to go for a drink.

All the staff is genuinely welcoming and helpful. They also speak English. They offer delicious alcohol free cocktails The patio is such a lovely place, it caught my eye from afar. It has a nice vibe to it. The location is perfect, as soon as you walk down the street, you can see the Coliseum !

It s worth repeating, they serve ALCOHOL FREE cocktails and it wasn't a mojito!! The bar tender is so talented! I told him what is was in the mood for and he delivered a lemon based, fruity (perfect balance of sweet and acid) creation that also had a ginger kick that I loved!

Yes, I get so happy when I can enjoy something other...

The 1’800 was great, we were staying close by and had morning coffee - delicious - and a croissant (cornetto). Server and service were great! The place is so naturally Italian, not touristy, which we very much dislike in general, didn’t hear a word of English. I believe the best part of it, we paid for 3 large cappuccinos, and two filled croissants, only 12 Euro, which is only fair. Believe me, we paid in another place, close to the Piazza di S. Pietro, 74 Euro for 2 cappuccinos, an ice cream a cookie, and a glass of milk. The server had the chutzpah of asking me for a tip, in cash, because it wasn’t included, well I clearly read, “service” 17%, which of course, we were also charged. Caffetteria...

This was our favorite cafe in Rome! We went here as often as we could, which was a lot because our room was only about a 10 minute walk away on the way to the Colosseum. It’s right across the street from Basilica of Saint John Lateran and has an adorable store front. We ate at the bar and sat and ate and both were delightful experiences. We ordered cappuccino, cafe crema, and croissants (chocolate and sweet). The staff is very friendly and quick. They also sell bus tickets which was convenient for us. Eat at the bar and pay at the counter...

If you go there be prepared to get a tourist trap in ALL form. We were supposed to have 2 happy hours (the special for €15 and the "normal" for €10)... The special had a good amount of stuff (salamis and cheeses but an old reheated focaccia). The "normal" the potatoes, and olives were missing, and the different types of pizzas were actually the same reheated focaccia with something on top... At least the drinks were ok. The terrace is very good. The service, it looks like he's learning but a nice guy.
