Stay away from this place. Poor food quality, poor service, and exorbitant prices. I ordered a burger, but instead, they served a flat, tasteless meatball on the plate with some mcckain. I expected a proper burger, not this disappointing substitute. They asked for tje cooking point, medium I said, brown and overcooked it came. Additionally, I asked for a Coca-Cola with lemon, they brought me one from the machine, flat, and watery. I asked to change it for any other bottled drink they had, and they said they don't exchange drinks. To make matters worse, I arrived at the place which was semi-empty, as seen in the photo. I sat at a comfortable table, and unnecessarily, they made me switch to a smaller, more uncomfortable table. For no reason, as I arrived to have lunch late, and there was no expectation that the table would be occupied. I politely commented on each of these things, and the response was total indifference, both regarding the drink and the food, and its cooking point. I didn't expect a gourmet experience for lunch, but I also didn't expect everything to be so bad and so expensive. I recommend going anywhere else in Rome,...
Read moreHmm... after long search for goof food in Rome I decided to visit this place and... it was not a very successfull choice. Salad was ok - not more not les Burger was average - it was done more than medium rare so without much flavour. Salomon wasn't with much flavour either but properly grilled. Desert Panna Cotta was the best of all. Having 2 Cappuccinos was a big mistake. They were of low gastro quality (bitter and sour + beyond drinkable temperature - should be max 70oC) Italians have the habit of heating the cups for espresso so you can keep it warm for a bit longer but with hot milk to the cup... it makes the drink so hot that steam escapes underneath the foam. We had also 2 dricks Merulana Ice Tea - quite strong and full of flavour (you can only fail the propotions so worth ordering :) Small chicken legs were too spicy in the crispy coating but the meat was fine.
So... drinks YES, food - perhaps pasta was better, coffee...
Read moreI would love to visit during the evening but I just went during the morning so it was much quieter (only us and a handful of people there). the place is super charming, very great atmosphere. The food we ordered was fantastic. I ordered, what i believe, was the Bismark burger. basically a bacon and egg burger with no bun. It was awesome. definitely recommend.
though, there was a woman who sat us and was sort of "serving" us (she had shoulder length hair, glasses, maybe in her 40s) who was not very pleasing. I dont know if it was because she had to come in after the heavy snow earlier in the morning. but every interaction with her came with eye roles, and snickers.
But our main server (younger woman) was amazing. very attentive and personable.
overall, i would definitely come back here again when we visit Rome. Especially during the evenings. seems like it would be an awesome place to...
