Roof Garden & Bar — Restaurant in Rome

Nice place, 2-3 times more expensive, but you pay for the view. One important thing: be VERY careful with reservation. Reservation on google doesn’t work, then from website you get to the page of the Restaurant, not bar! They have 2 different reservations. We did a reservation, where was info that cancellation in less than 24h will provide for 20 euro penalty. And when we came to the bar, they say that we have a reservation to the restaurant and if we want, after we can go to the bar. Restaurant has also nice view, good service, but this is restaurant! We felt a little bit frustrated as we were not hungry, were after all day walk in Rome, so not in best condition ;) Plus prices…. The cheapest is smth around 25 euro. So long story short, we get a nice dinner at the restaurant, but not in the bar, felt kind of out of our league there, payed 65 euro for 2 pastas and water 😅 does it worth it - guess so, but 1 Aperol or beer will...

La location e la vista è mozzafiato. Bellissima la terrazza per fare aperitivo dove per 18€ hai un cocktail. Sei consapevole e diciamo "felice" di spenderli perché da un posto così ti aspetti che sia tutto perfetto, invece... Eravamo in 5, abbiamo ordinato 5 cocktail. I cocktail arrivano accompagnati da una ciotolina di taralli e una di patatine crik crok, l'equivalente che si porta per una coppia..ma noi eravamo in 5. (Ma ok non è questo il problema). Spritz ottimo, Mimosa ottimo, altri due cocktail buonissimi, di cui non ricordo il nome e poi l'hugo spritz... Al primo sorso sento un sapore fortissimo di alcool, penso che forse non essendoci la cannuccia non è ben mescolato. Chiedo la cannuccia, gentilmente e prontamente me la portano.... il sapore non cambia; allora mi decido a chiedere se si può allungare un po' perché lo sento troppo forte, e prontamente il barista lo "aggiusta" con, immagino, della Schweppes. Il sapore era modificato ma non capivo come un cocktail dolce e beverino come l'Hugo, mi stesse dando così fastidio e l'ho fatto assaggiare agli altri 4 che subito, disgustati, hanno detto che c'era whisky, addirittura torbato. Mi decido allora a chiedere al cameriere che però mi assicura che il cocktail è fatto con liquore di sambuco e prosecco, io rispondo che conoscendolo bene invece, non mi sembrava affatto e che magari ci poteva essere stato un errore, ma mi conferma di no. Io il cocktail l'ho lasciato praticamente sano, non mi è stato chiesto se volevo sostituirlo e nel conto non è stato fatto nessun accenno di storno. Ci tengo a precisare che i camerieri sono gentili e disponibili ma un cliente che per tre volte ti chiama per lo stesso problema non può essere gestito così. E se questo non fosse compito del cameriere dico anche che c'era il ragazzo che passa per i tavoli a chiedere se va tutto bene, da noi è passato appena arrivati i cocktail... forse doveva passare più tardi... quando al tavolo, solo il mio era rimasto, intatto. Mi dispiace ma da un posto che offre con tali prezzi, io pretendo un servizio che molti ristoratori di fascia media e/o...

This is a fine dining restaurant, the food is tasty and well prepared, although portions are small. Our main reason to visit was for the rooftop view. You can book the rooftop bar for drinks and finger food for €45 per person.

Or booked a one course dinner with drink for around €50 per person. This option allows rooftop access if you want. If you are lucky to be seated at the front you will have a great view, otherwise you will look onto apartments.

If you are looking for a sunset view I would book the rooftop with drinks. Or make it clear you want a table in the restaurant with...
