Extremely close to hotel Románico Palace hotel, Rome, where my husband and I were staying. The pasta is made in house and was outstanding! Owner is Sardinian and is very passionate about his food. The wine selection is diverse and plentiful. The starters and menu are mostly sea not land, so if you’re looking for meat then perhaps this is not your selection. They have incredible seafood for the sea lovers. There is fresh fish and seafood displayed in a covered ice case when you walk in, so you know your getting truly Fresh fish! For my starter, I selected 3 oysters and they were phenomenal, my husband chose the octopus salad which he devoured rapidly. My first course, ravioli with ricotta and spinach, was perfection. My husband‘s first course was linguine with crab and he said it was delicious, the only negative was that the portion was quite large; the crab is shelled. For the second course, my husband and I both chose Seabass with potatoes, this was the freshest and most flavorful fish that we have had since coming to Rome 3 days ago. Outstanding service and very clean and local restaurant. For those of you who need to know the toilette area is very clean for both women and men. The staff speaks little to no English, however it was easy to order and they were very helpful and understanding. Portions are large so if your a small portion eater you may not be able to eat 3 courses here. Definitely a must try if you’re in Rome! Incredible price for the quality of food you get here, definitely affordable. Including an excellent bottle of wine, 2 complete three-course meals, 1 espresso, and no dessert (only opted not to try because we were satisfied with our meal) the price person was only €50 euro per person. Extremely responsible pricing for 5 star...

According to the comments, poor service should be downgraded to avoid the impact of others If you are a travel enthusiast but cannot speak fluent Italian, stay away from this restaurant. From the chef to the waiters, they show a strong hostility and inexplicable resentment toward anyone who does not speak Italian. They pretend not to understand your language, and the way they behave gives off a rotten and unpleasant feeling—you know what I mean.

As for the food: even their so-called specialty, pasta, had to be redone because the first plate they served was half-cooked in the middle. At the entrance, there is a seafood display, but when my wife ordered a grilled fish, what arrived was a simply boiled fish, with skin and scales still on, without any sauce, served with a few leaves of salad and some hard potato chunks—for 20 euros.

We ate quickly and left as soon as possible. During the whole experience, the waiters remained cold, with poker faces, laughing and chatting only among themselves, while ignoring the customers. It makes you wonder: why should anyone spend their money here, supporting such narrow-minded people, clinging desperately to the past, living off their ancestors’ reputation, and failing so miserably at genuine hospitality?

And then, to top it all off, just look at the owner’s response to guests’ reviews. Between the lines, it reveals his true face: bitter, petty, narrow-minded, and...

My girlfriend and I had a very lovely time in this traditionel and cosy resturant. We got met by a warm hearted and very welcoming waiter name Peppino, who served us the entire evening, and we were so satisfied by the service, that we choosed to come back and spend the last evening at this lovely resturant, and we had, once again, a fantastic time. The food was nothing less then delisious and the wine the same. I will at any time recomend this resturant to every body who loves good food, wine and a good atmosfeere. Personally, then we wold come back and eat here, when we come...

The restaurant was close to our hotel and decided to stop in for some seafood for lunch. The seafood is very fresh and I would know. I'm someone with a very very weak stomach, and anything that has a hint of expiration, I will be feeling it. The raw shrimps are super sweet, the crab pasta was made perfectly, and the grilled langostinos were divine. No attitude, no fuss, just good food and great service! Looking forward to stopping by for our next trip to Rome.
