A beautiful gem in the downtown Rome near the elegant via Veneto. Me and my mate where welcome by Kamil and his staff. Each of them showing the highest quality of the meaning hospitality through their service and attention to detail .. Lebanese cuisine isn't a easy task, but when your kitchen staff is all from Lebanon then you can really have a dive into real authentic flavors. Best falafel, very good kebbeih Neje which was dressed with the amazing olive oil that Kamil produce, Tabulè, Hommos, Mtabbal, Baba Gannuj, Muhammara kack, Zeitun, Mugieddara, i loved the Sambusak, iand among all my favorite was the Hommos Ma Lahm.. I end the meal with fresh squeezed lemon juice and mint, along with a double apple narghilè Definitely will be back for the rest of the menÚ
Read moreThe staff was extremely pleasant and welcoming us - 2 families (4 adults and 4 young kids). We went on a Monday evening and the entire restaurant was mostly empty. We inquired about the appetizer and our server said they have platter and thinks that will be perfect for us. Appetizer platter was not on the menu and we took his word for it. He quickly came around and took the order for main course and drink. After some wait, we we thrilled to see 3 large party appetizer platters placed on our table. We were not sure if this is too much .. and inquired if something can be returned. The server said food cannot be returned to the kitchen. We enjoyed the appetizer, but with young kids we were only able to consume the size of 1 platter . Our main course followed up but we were so full with the appetizers that we were barely able to eat our meals. We were staying in hotel so we couldnât do a to go and weâre disappointed ti have wasted so much food.
Soon the bill followed up ⌠and we were surprised to see they charged us $300. $150 were only for 3 party sized appetizer platter alone that we really did not order and the server placed the order himself . Any additional sauce was charged at the price of an entree. (Our young kids were to share food with us)
We totally felt ripped off and tricked. Be careful when you visit this place. Check prices and portion sizes when you order. Do not take suggestions from the server⌠their main goal is to make your bill size bigger to support this...
Read moreNot recommended We wanted a small meal with a drink the night before our flight home and our hotel didn't have much local. We looked at the reviews here and thought we would give it a try. It took ages for us to be served as they prioritised the large parties. We asked our waiter a question he couldn't answer so he flagged a colleague down with good English, he answered the question then walked off so we had to flag a waiter down again to take our order. I saw a mixed meat dish online and asked them to tell us what it was, they pointed it out a mixed meat dish for 25 euro. We ordered two starters and one meat dish to share. He asked if we want one between two we said yes. The meat was a little dry so we asked for some sauce, any sauce. When the bill came, they had charged us for two main meals (50 euro) when we specifically requested one they said they put enough meat for two, we left half of it because we only wanted a light dinner and it was a lot of food. They also charged us 3.50 euro for bread we didn't order, they put it on our table and we didn't touch it. Then 6 euro for the sauce they gave us which was yoghurt. We made it very clear we wanted one main to share. They took 20 euro off the bill but we still had to pay for the bread we didn't eat and 5 euro towards the main we didn't order. Definitely give this place a miss, they try and get as much money out of you as they can no matter how clear you are on what you'd...
