I could write an essay about this place. First off, it was dirty. We were seated outside, but when we went in to pay, I couldn’t help but notice how dirty everything was. Even looking into the kitchen was not something I wanted to see after eating here. They had containers of Parmesan sitting outside with no covers, and we were all done with our pizzas before the bowl of “carbonara” was brought out. The noodles were still undercooked and was so bland. The pizzas were pre-cut (bad sign in Italy) and the mozzarella was just shredded cheese. I tried to eat just the prosciutto, and that was bad too. The crust was burnt and grainy, I only ate a slice before I realized it was not worth eating.
Disappointed that it was recommended to us, and even more disappointed at the reviews claiming this to be authentic and deserving of a Michelin star,...
Read moreWent there to eat lunch, asked for a table as I could see the place was full but there were a few tables available. The waiter told us to ask the owner for a table, we did, the owner only replied “there's a line”, we went and saw a family of four waiting and a group of three. He went and started pulling chairs and making more tables available but never gave us a table or the family, only the group and there were tables available. There were people asking for lunch and he asked for the name as he had a list (he never asked us out name or to give us our name or told us how long it was gonna take). We ended up leaving as there is not a way to treat a costumer. We walked 30 minutes to eat here and waited another 30 for him to say us anything. We ended up eating in another (and...

I'm so pleased we agreed to dine here. Although it doesn't look very appealing the food and service was incredible (our waiter was a star), and the experience was the most authentic we have had in Rome. The prices were very cheap, yet the food and ingredients were impressive. We would definitely come back (and we are PICKY!!) :-) The owner came over and spoke with us personally, offering us some after dinner drinks - which were delicious! They were also lovely with my brother who is in a wheelchair. V grateful! Excellent English too! We left a well...
