We decided to try this restaurant based on the menu we saw online. The place is sadly understaffed and the quality (or lack of) of service shows. We were seated at a table that hadn’t been cleared. Waited 10 minutes for the waiter to clear the dirty dishes from the previous guests. They set the table without napkins. We asked for napkins and we’re provided disposable wet napkins instead of real napkins. We order our drinks and food and then wait. And wait. And wait. Our drinks come and the waiter can’t even remember who ordered which drink. We have to pass around the drinks to our party. The the food comes. We ordered cacio è pepe dishes and lasagna. The pastas were cold and the lasagna was BURNT and inedible to where we had to get a new plate. My fork was taken during the appetizer course. I ask for a fork. And wait. My dinner companion offers me her spoon so I can eat. The fork arrived after I was done eating. The manager is too busy chatting instead of managing his staff, who are directionless. We’re on waiter number 2 or 3, I have lost count. We have traveled from Venice to Sicily back to Rome with stops in between on day 12 of a 14 day trip and by far the worst dining experience of this trip hands down. In closing, we go to pay the bill and further insult us by comping us only €13 on a €163.00 bill for the burnt lasagna. I asked him why the cacio è pepe was cold. Manager blamed everyone but himself for...

Went in to get a quick bite to eat. Ordered a pint of Pilsner, roasted potatoes and the daily special, nachos. My pint came out and it was a cider. I asked the waitress and she fixed it and apologized for the mistake. Nachos came out and they were missing the guacamole and cheese that they were advertised with. The nachos were also about half whole chips and half partial crumbs. After several minutes of waiting on the guacamole and cheese I asked the waitress where they were. She said they only had salsa and walked off. How could they not have the 'daily special'? I was hungry and it was late so I ate it. Time for the check, the waitress came over and said 24 euros. I already knew it should be 19 euros. I must have had a puzzled look on my face when I asked her to show me the bill. She looked at her phone and a few seconds later said, "Oh, 19 euros" like she had made a mistake. I paid and left. I hope I just came when everyone was having a bad day, but I just had a bad...

OK so first of all, food was lovely. Please do not get me wrong about that. However... as soon as we walked in to go upstairs to the terrace, we were shouted at by a staff member questioning what we were doing, despite already being told to go find a seat by another member of staff. Tense atmosphere immediately after that. So sat down, served immediately with water. Great. However after 30 minutes I had to ask the waiter if we could now order food and drinks. Let's just say the waiter was less than friendly. He never looked at me once when I spoke to him and looked terribly annoyed at my presence in the restaurant. This was a theme from all the staff, and also toward other customers who sat nearby. I'm fact, 2 tables walked out due to the time taken to take their order.

Food great but staff awful. This made for a tense and poor atmosphere. Stay clear if you don't want to be made to feel uncomfortable when eating.

Could be such a...

If you are willing to go a litte more East from the Colusseum, this restaurant is worth the walk. There seems to be a littl ebit of something for everyone here and it is executed well. There is a rooftop seating area/bar, inside seating with air conditioning, a "front" patio along a not very busy street, and a lower area with large televisions for catching sporting events. We had dinner here and, given it was a nice evening and the rooftop was full we sat in the patio area. Overall, the service was very good, and food was definitely well above average. The Fiori di Zucca were perfectly fried, as well were the Suppli. My Foccaccia Genovese was excellent. As most restaurants in Rome, they have a very good wine selection and a very good beer selection.

Over priced, under cooked and forever wait with cocky service. Waited for 50 minutes for a poke bowl and carbonara. The waiter was a rude, scoffing with his coworkers while not making eye contact while we wait for food. Poke bowl arrived and rice is stale. Why 50 minutes for a meal that doesn't even need to be cooked? On top the service was poor, no checking if we need drinks. Basically the menu and the website display a complete different experience to what you will get. A couple was seated before us and ordered an appetizer, we got our food before them and they were still waiting. Skip this place. Don't need to sit with rude waiters laughing while waiting for sub par food. Tourist trap.

Wondering if you can find some peace and quiet and delicious food in the touristy area around the Colosseum? The answer is ABSOLUTELY! I was very positively impressed by this restaurant. It has different sitting areas including external terraces and a rooftop with a beach vibe! The food was excellent and you can find options different from the typical Roman menus. I had risotto with asparagus and shrimp and it was really delicious! They also have some vegetarian and gluten-free options and seem very open to cater for clients’ needs. Next time I will try their gluten-free, lactose-free tiramisu! Staff was very friendly too. Highly recommended!
