Walked a good 10 minutes just so we could get sandwiches from here because I had heard good things and it totally lived up to its expectations! Quite a lot of menu options and a really reasonable price for everything as well. And the best part is that those sandwiches are huge! They also add a good amount of olive oil on top of the toppings before closing the sandwich and also some salt. Not sure how, but it all really works well together! Love how they actually toast the sandwiches so the cheese gets all melty. Dad got the Grillo - I believe he thought it would be a grilled sandwich which is why he got it but it was actually bigger and potatoes and something else in there but he said it was actually quite nice. I believe he thought it would be a grilled sandwich which is why he got it but it was actually bacon and potatoes and something else in there. He did say it was actually quite nice. I believe the potatoes were boiled or something in there but I'm not sure. Custom Turkey+Zucchini+Brie+Rocket - asked for no olive oil on mine and it was still really good. Quite a neutral flavor overall and nice on its own but I was looking for something a little spicy for this meal and I added some hot sauce and it was perfect! Piela - My brother only got this one because he saw someone else before us order it and it looked like a very beautiful loaded sandwich with a lot going on. He was not wrong. A lot of ingredients in there that they all went so so well together! A VERY premium quality ham was used and it leveled up the sandwich quite a lot. Those zucchini flowers were really un a nice touch. I don't remember what husband ordered but from the fact that he actually finished the entire sandwich I take it he really liked it. Over the entire 10-day trip we had in Italy, this sandwich was his favorite!

With plenty of choice on the menu, you’re bound to find something you’ll like. If not, you can ask to make modifications, as explained to us by the friendly server. The fillings are generous, all delivered on some nice crusty bread. These sandwiches hit the spot. There is only barstool seating indoors, but hooks are under the table for you to conveniently hang your bags. The final bill was on the expensive side for such a casual sandwich establishment. The menu indicates that there is a 20% table service charge, which seems a little steep.

Sooooo many choices of sandwiches! I was amazed at how large this menu was and it was the hardest decision to decide on what to get. I went the one our server suggested the Leonardo di Vinci, so good! The combo of all the meats and cheese and the potato, they don’t make sandwiches like this in the US! I wish we stayed longer in Italy so I could try more sandwiches. You won’t go wrong with this place, if you’re craving a sandwich, this is the place to try. Don’t just take my word. Thanks!

This is a beautiful place to have some tasty, delicious sandwiches in the heart of Rome right beside the Vatican. The hot bread is amazing and all the ingredients super fresh. The service is also fine. The lady who served us really tried her best to make us feel comfortable. We found the final price a bit off for what we got - hence why the 4 stars - but it wasn't a big deal after all. I'd definitely go back should I decide to visit Rome again.

Good place to eat lunch where you can eat handmade sandwiches. This place is near the veteran museum, we was hungry after visiting the museum and did visit this place to eat. You can either take to go or pay little extra and eat at table where you got table service. We did choose to eat at table where i can say there service was really good, the little extra price was worth it. I did eat tuna sandwich which did taste very good.

If you're touring the Vatican, go to this sandwich shop!! There's a large menu so finding something you like shouldn't be difficult. Their bread and ingredients are so fresh that I couldn't imagine there being anything that isn't delicious on the menu. My wife got a Monti and I forget the name of the sandwich I had but it had spicy salami in it. Both were a 10/10 and the service was fast and friendly.
