PLEASE read this review before you go! I came here yesterday and the service and food were good especially the fish. It was fresh, delicious and we were happy. However, my partner and I came here again the next day excited to visit again but we were welcomed with rude service and decreased quality of food, especially the fish. The asian male worker (which seems to be the boss), was friendly at first and treated us nicely but once I made a complaint about the fish, he treated us very rudely. Half the underside of the body was missing and clearly didn’t taste fresh. He claimed the “the stomach of the fish does not taste good and should have no meat on it” which didn’t make sense. He was making excuses. After realizing what I was saying was true, he offered to apply a €3 discount stating he was “fond of me” instead of mentioning anything about the fish and owning up to the mistake. He also started ignoring me, stopped making eye contact and pretended to not hear me once I made the complaint. He treated me nicely at first but later, acted like I wasn’t there. Him and his team also started cleaning up the restaurant while me and my partner were still eating. It was not hygienic or pleasant smelling detergent while eating. As a message to the asian community, please don’t be fooled by the reviews. The asian guy is rude and the food quality is inconsistent. Be careful.
In response to the owner: BEFORE paying, you asked me if the fish tasted fresh and I said no. I also told you and showed you multiple times BEFORE paying that I was unhappy with the amount of fish but you kept saying it was normal. This is the first time you have acknowledged that it was small. With how you treated me, you did not seem open to settle for a fair compromise. That is why I just paid. Yes, we were upset but our concerns were valid and it doesn’t make it right to treat us like we don’t exist. It is an insult when you apply a discount and say it is because you are fond of me instead of saying the amount of meat was small. We ate all the fish because after a few bites, it was already all gone. I’m not exaggerating anything. When you mop the floors, dust and debris can fly into our food. Not only that, but it made us anxious because we think the restaurant is closing. If you wanted us to leave, then we could have left and you guys could have went home quicker. I’m not the only one who has complained about how you treat your customers. When there is a problem, ignoring them is not the right method. Go read your other negative reviews and you will quickly realize that there is a reoccurring theme. Don’t treat your customers poorly. I have the respect for people to know the full truth. Thank you...

Firstly when I sat down I was handed a spoon and fork... Probably because I'm white... When the rest of the customers only have chop sticks. So I had to ask for some. Not a big deal, but I've not had that happen before.
Then the food came out. The noodles... Flavour-less and SO oily. I cannot stress how oily these were. Then my sweet and sour pork was more like a soup of the sauce with some pork, vegetables, and pineapple in it. But was ok flavour.
The bathroom... The light goes on when you enter with a sensor, but soon turns off, so I needed to keep flailing my arms to keep the light on. A sign on the door said not to put toilet paper in the toilet, so like in Greece it goes in the bin next to it. Sure, this happens and I'd not mention it had it not been for all three other stuff. The worst part though, is the sink had no water from the tap and to substitute is a BROKEN bidet hose, where you have to pull a keyring (I'm not joking) for a small stream of water to come out.
Lastly, when the waiter took my plates, he proceeded to pick up my scrunched up, used (and now heavily oil absorbed from the excess on the noodle plate) and drops them right in front of me between myself and my drink. I've NEVER seen that before.
Oh and for most of my meal, the waitress was eating her dinner on the other side of the restaurant (sure, fine, not a big deal), but was also intermittently having a loud conversation with a man sitting behind me.... On the opposite side of the restaurant to her.
Sure it's fine, not too expensive, but there are many many better Chinese...
Read moreThe two waiters inside are very good at Mandarin. I asked the boss if the rice could be renewed? Because it was only two euros and a small bowl was not enough to eat, he said no, and I thought well, maybe people's rules are different from uk. Then I ordered a fried rice. When the fried rice came up, I asked them if they could give me a plain boiled water ( they didn't pour me water, which is not forced, although we are customers ). At that time, there were two of them, a waiter and a woman. The waiter saw me first, and he had already reached out his hand. He stretched out his right hand to the counter. At this time, the waitress told me that they didn't have plain boiled water ~ I glanced at the back when I was about to finish eating. The waiter took two eggs from the kitchen and washed them at the counter ( there was a faucet next to the counter ). Then I saw him holding a hot kettle boiling water in his left hand In fact, I just started to think, order a fish shredded meat, then order an egg soup, and eat two bowls of rice. ( If I remember correctly, the fish shredded meat is 13 €, the soup is 8 €, and the total is 23 € including rice ). I came to see that there is very little fried rice. I was going to ask for another rice noodle, but when I saw a kettle at the counter behind me, I finished eating and left. ( Yes, as she wished, I bought a bottle of water, 2 €, which cost 9 € in total, and a bowl of rice and a cup of plain boiled water were...
