I decided to go here (as opposed to the myriad of similar places) entirely based on the point score on GOOGLE maps. At that time it was a 5.0. This was a terrible mistake. After the fact I saw it rated a 4.4 on a different site which is quite fair. If that’s all you need then go right ahead as 4-4.4 is what they are worth. If you expect anything more then you shall be horribly disappointed. So here is an honest review. You cannot beat the convenience of the location within sight of the pantheon. The fact you can see the latter from the tables will be a red flag for any experienced traveler. Likewise the fact they can present you a menu entirely in English rather than with small print translation. And also that they have someone up front hawking the place. Tbh at least the person was polite, non obtrusive and not creepy (which in Roma is a relief). Service was polite, attentive and efficient so five stars for that (also not at all a given). Loud American tourists (I am American and always mortified when people fit the caricature) essentially demanding free limoncello as an after dinner drink did nothing for the ambiance of a busy pedestrian street. All would have been forgiven had the food not been pedestrian as well. Carbonara with too much runny egg, abbacchio with little seasoning, and baked potatoes without adequate rosemary and not crisped up on the outside. Fortunately nothing entirely bland or overly salty. However just mediocre versions of the local fare that one could easily make better at home rather than a good quality version that will be memorable. If one only eats at the worst tourist traps in town I suppose this would rate a five by comparison, but even in the spectrum of middle of the road, relatively inexpensive restaurants I have eaten at, this does not stand out and will hopefully be...

You will not regret stopping in this beautiful restaurant for dinner, we were absolutely blown away! It was hands down the best meal we had during our entire trip to Italy.
Our server, KeBron, went above and beyond to give us not only incredible food but also such a happy, memorable experience. The staff even surprised our son with the most amazing tiramisu to celebrate his 13th birthday. W were so grateful!
Whatever your server recommends, order it. Every dish we tried was phenomenal. The bruschetta was the best I’ve ever had, and our son who is used to the best of the best in beef thanks to my husband who worked in the high-end beef industry in America said the steak with red wine sauce was the best steak he’s ever had, in the States or abroad. After trying a bite ourselves, we all agreed! It was melt in your mouth perfect!!
It’s rare to find a restaurant that offers amazing food, beautiful atmosphere, and truly exceptional service all in one place, but this one delivers it all. We’re already planning to come back on our last night in Rome before...
