Casa Cavour — Restaurant in Salerno

Great choice for our last meal in Salerno. The owner was so lovely, taking our order and making sure we were well taken care of. The service is wonderful, everything was served at just the right pace. Eggplant Parmesan was light, tender and flavorful. Mussels and clams were in a savory broth that we soaked up with their delicious bread. Zupetta di pesce is actually the entire sea in a bowl. It was a massive plate of fish, calamari, clams, shrimp and mussels. My husband was in heaven. Grilled tuna was cooked to a perfect medium rare. Very tender and seasoned perfectly. It was so nice to eat this wonderful meal on the patio so we could enjoy...

Absolutely lovely food, the host was very nice spoke English and was very chatty. We chose this restaurant due to its reviews and were not disappointed the food was amazing. 2 starters 2 mains water and a bottle of wine and didn't get are pants pulled down as we have in other places. Don't judge a book by its cover the food is on another level would definitely return to this restaurant....

Parto con il dire che sono davvero soddisfatta di questo ristorante. Siamo stati qui ieri sera, eravamo in 10 e ci hanno riservato una saletta solo per noi, intima e accogliente. Appena siamo arrivati ci hanno accolto il proprietario, un signore davvero molto gentile e amorevole, e Cristian, cameriere super simpatico, che ci ha subito messo a nostro agio! Per noi è stata la prima volta ma sembrava di conoscerli da sempre. La cosa che mi ha davvero colpito tanto è la gentilezza e la cura per il cliente che oggi devo dire si vede davvero poco in giro.. Ad allietare la nostra serata c’è stato uno strimpellatore che ci ha fatto cantare e ballare, fidatevi qualcosa di esilarante. Per non parlare del cibo, davvero ottimo. Abbiamo mangiato pesce, e devo dire che la freschezza si è sentita tutta. E possiamo dire che rapporto qualità prezzo è davvero top. Abbiamo preso antipasto, 1 primo a testa e delle belle fritture al centro con acqua e vino e non abbiamo speso praticamente nulla per tutto ciò che abbiamo mangiato.
