Apres Ski Seceda — Restaurant in Salten-Schlern - Salto-Sciliar

Original post 3* I feel it necessary to offset the last year's worth of horrendous reviews with an objective (albeit drunken) rebuttal. This will be the first of several reviews as the evening progresses.

Edit one 4* Off to strong start. We arrived and were seated quickly. It was basically empty so that's not shocking. We (late 20's and early 30's) brought the average age down considerably. But that's our vibe and we love it! So far nobody has spat in my face, slapped me or offended my honour. A little disappointed based on previous reviews.

Edit two 5* Still on an upward trajectory. The tunes are amazing, random covers that nobody gets are the actual best. It's a weird calamity of nostalgia and wonder. I've learned a thing. You know how every ski resort has a fiat panda. Well, in the same way, every bar has a random drunk old guy. They both seem way too old to function at such an extreme environment for their original design, but they crack in no matter what.

Edit three 2* Ok time to get real. The drinks are as expected, a little overpriced and a little watered down. But we knew the drill getting in. The bar is fairly budget in terms of furniture and decor. Plastic seats make my butt more sad than a spicy curry. This is not my first rodeo, but still, it could be better. Also I didn't like that last song. Don't try and upgrade stars by playing Bon Jovi, I cannot be bribed.

Edit four 4* What a rollercoaster of emotions we've been on. We bled, cried, drank, made our ancestors proud and sang till our throats hurt. In the last minute of this odyssey I found out they have air hockey and darts. Why is this not on the way in?! The most important thing to remember when frequenting this establishment is, stop complaining! My god, it's a bar. Buy a drink and enjoy yourself. Or don't. Make your own adventure. But stop moaning. Or don't. If you made it this far you're clearly here for the journey, and I commend you for it. Well played. But seriously this place is fine. Lol. All that for fine. Do you feel robbed? If so, leave a review. Side bar: if you can afford a ski trip you can afford 50c...

Staff rude and aggressive. We visited here in the summer on our way to the cable car to see Seceda. We had travelled for a few hours to get here and when we arrived were in need of the toilet and some refreshments. We entered the bar area and saw the toilets at the rear of the bar. As we approached we saw a bowl with a note asking for 50 cents to use the toilet. We put 3 x 50 cent coins into the bowl and I went ahead to the toilet. My teenage daughter was following closely behind me when she was accosted by the gentleman from behind the bar. He approached her, took our coins from the bowl and then started shouting, aggressively telling her in italian she needed to pay. She tried to explain that we had already paid but the man just kept shouting at her. I could hear the commotion from inside the toilet. My daughter didn't speak any Italian amd the gentleman didn't speak any English. He just kept yelling at her. When I came out of the toilet the man had gone back behind the bar. My daughter was visibly upset and shaken. We didn't stay for a drink she she just wanted to leave. I really do not understand why the gentleman didn't wait and speak to an adult. Or why he felt it was appropriate to speak to a minor in that manner. It's a shame because it did spoil what was otherwise a lovely day of...

My drink was spiked & I suspect it was the servant! I was travelling solo as a female & my dog. The toilet was not in use so I ordered an ice tea &food, the waiter told me the toilet is free to use. My table was right next to it so I thought I'll leave my drink alone (I know it was stupid) & was back by max 1min.

I was hungry, so I took a little sip of my drink on empty stomach. In +- 3min out of nothing my heart started racing, dizzy, shaking, extremely weak, I felt I was about to lose consciousness & pass out. However I just saw two groups/families around me, the other tables were empty. I luckily got myself out of there & didn't touch my food & drink anymore.

When I wanted to pay the waiter seemed so normal by my weird doing. Honestly I got a bad feeling from it the moment I sat down. Of course I have no proof on who did it. But whoever did it, a tourist won't just sit there the whole day waiting for an opportunity, it must have been someone local that has done this before & have the drug...
