Everything was great until it wasn't.. after eating and paying I wanted to exit the hotel through the garden. One of the staff (tall n bald with a white uniform) yelled and screamed at me that if I'm not the guest of the hotel I should exit immediately. Well I guess I should understand? because I already enjoyed their private deck. But it's not what he said but how he said it. He kept saying "it's not possible!! EXIT!! We booked this restaurant for lunch after being excited by the enticing menu and atmosphere depicted from the website. How wrong we were. Upon arrival we were met with nothing but pure arrogance and the feel that the staff were almost irritated by our presence, despite the booking. The menu did not match online and the food was absolutely below par. Clear lack of finesse and understanding of customer service and experience, except one very nice waiter who was very understanding of our lack of impression. We are staying at the hotel and made a reservation, but they claimed when we showed up they had no room. Finally seated us 15 min later. Food arrived 40 min after ordering; The grilled shellfish platter was the saddest I had seen; 1 small langoustine and a 2-3 shrimp/shellfish that all looked like they were from the bottom of the barrel. At least the waiter acknowledged the wait and didn't charge for the drink we had ordered, and gave us a second on the house, which I appreciated.
