This is not just a review but a story from the heart
A Special Day in Sorrento
We didn't even plan to go to Sorrento yesterday. After some delays with our rental car, we just decided on a whim to drive there. We had no idea where to eat, so my daughter just picked a seafood place randomly. It was a special day too—it was 30 days since my mom passed away, and no matter where we all were, my family took a moment to pray and for us its in the car on the way to the restaurant.
The restaurant was amazing. The people there were so welcoming, and the place itself was beautiful, sitting right by the ocean. You could hear the waves softly while eating and far up in the horizon in the hills you can see a statue of Mother Mary. The seafood was super fresh—fish, shrimp, clams, oysters—and the pasta was really good too. I believe its the freshest clams that I have ever had.
But that's not really why I'm writing this. There was this lady there, I think she might have been the owner. She was so kind and genuine, just a really good person. You could just tell. She was feeding the birds by the docks when we got there. I really felt in Italy with a very kind Mother figure around.
After we finished eating and wnt to pay for our meal, this lady was at the cashier. She said something to my daughter that sounded exactly like something my mom would say. I can't remember her exact words, but it was something about being young, having a long way to go, and always fighting for your dreams. She told my daughter that she could be an angel in this world, which really needs more angels. Then, she gave my daughter a Maria pendant with a red thread, saying it was to bless her journey and that a blessing is a powerful thing.
We were all kind of shocked and tears flowed. It felt like everything that happened was somehow meant to be, like it was all connected.
This lady reminded me of my mom and my grandmother. They were angels to me, and it felt like we met another angel in Sorrento. We really do need more angels in this world.
So, I just wanted to share this. That day in Sorrento, at that restaurant, it wasn't just about the good food or the nice view. It was about feeling like we were supposed to be there, meeting someone who made us feel like we had a little bit of our mom with us again. Thanks to that lady and everyone at the restaurant for making that day special for us.
God bless Mama and Oma Nelly semoga mama dan oma beristirahat dengan tenang di surga bersama Bapa yang Maha...

It was tough to grab reservations however we were lucky enough to be able to dine here twice during our visit to Sorrento!
Filippo, his sister and his cousins were so incredibly gracious, amazing service and very attentive. Made us feel at home and we truly our dinner experience here!
The location is great - right on the water! The staff js ever so kind and happily calls a taxi for you as you are finishinf up your meal and notifies you when the taxis has arrived! Such a nice accommodation they provide that removes the stress of finding your way home.
Now the food speaks for itself!! The freshest food available in Sorrento. My husband and I are extremely picky with our seafood and truly recognize high quality when we see it! Every single dish we ordered was delicious. We enjoyed our dinner so much we tried relentlessly to get another reservation and we were so grateful when we were able to!
The mussels and clams in garlic and parsley were to die for! Huge portion and extremely fresh. Something to note here was that both times we ordered this dish there were no mussels or clams that were closed. This was so important to us because it showed the quality of the food!
Secondly the fresh fish was another highlight. Deboned table side topped with olive oil and garlic! We recommend asking for their chili oil - homemade and the perfect kick to dish!
Honestly I can go on and on about this place however the most important thing to note is that the food and staff are amazing! 10/10...
Read moreWell...where do I even start? One of the best experiences my husband and I had in Sorrento. It was so good that we visited it twice during our trip. It's definitely one of our favourite restaurants in Europe. The restaurant itself is very pretty at the Marina. I'd recommend reserving a table, we visited in October and called them during lunch time to book a table for dinner (they were busy so we got a table around 8pm). The food is fantastic and absolutely delicious! Both times the food didn't disappoint. When they didn't have a starter we wanted they went above and beyond and created a new one for us! And it was fabulous! The main dishes were also out of this world! My husband was so looking forward to eat their pasta allo scoglio and he said it was the best one he's ever had! And their risotto was also the best one I've ever eaten (and I try risottos everywhere). The dessert was the best one we've had during the whole trip - their delizie al limone was our favourite and we tried loads of that everywhere! My husband even had some fruit (melon) and he said it was so juicy and sweet, even I had go eat it! So good!
Now...the star of this restaurant is definitely the staff, especially Luisa - she's a diamond. She makes you feel so welcome, you feel at home! I wish every single restaurant in this world had a "Luisa". The staff definitely made the whole experience unforgettable, and this restaurant will stay in our hearts forever and because of places like this one that we'll definitely return...
