We came here because of the great reviews but left a little disappointed. The restaurant has a nice setting, good location and calm atmosphere. The staff were friendly and welcoming but service standards slipped throughout the evening and got slower. We were shown to our table and left for 15 minutes without a menu, eventually someone brought over a tablet for us to look at. This was awkward as it meant you couldn’t both look at the same time, nothing wrong with a bit of paper and ink! We kindly got a glass of complimentary sparkling something, which was nice and this was a common occurrence throughout the restaurant. We ordered a starter of ‘chefs selection’ which was lovely! Cuttlefish, Octopus & Tuna steak, all well cooked and full of flavour. For main I had the cod and my other half had the grilled fish, which consisted of a lot of different types of fish! It would’ve been beneficial if they pointed out which was which when it was served, as we were guessing a little. It also didn’t come with any sauce, which my fiancé said it was lacking. Dessert was yummy and beautifully presented. Overall we enjoyed the food but did get the impression the manageress seemed more concerned about texting on her phone then she did checking on tables. Not sure we’d return.

This was the best seafood we had anywhere in Italy. Fresh, beautiful, masterfully prepared tableside. Service began with complimentary prosecco. We got a beautiful bottle of local white wine to go with the rest of dinner and ordered the sampler for an appetizer. It was well prepared. We also got the gnocchi stuffed with smoked cheese, served with swordfish and a black garlic sauce. Think ravioli, but with the texture of gnocchi. All of the flavors were powerful and decadent. For our main course we picked a fresh rockfish (which my wife named Rocky) and had them bake it with potatoes, capers, caper berries, olives, and sundried tomatoes. When it came out the prepared it tableside in a display that got the entire restaurant's attention. The server plated it into two beautiful portions that wer absolute magic to eat. To top it all off, we got to see the sun set on the coast while sitting right on the water. Once it got dark, there were fireworks! What a romantic evening!!

This is a wonderful restaurant in a lovely position on Marina Grande. We enjoyed a fabulous evening dinner here with superb food and lovely service. The servers were very knowledgeable about all the dishes and the wine list. They were very patient when questioned about the dishes and it was nice to be able to select the fish from the ice box with the fresh catch of the day. It's not the cheapest restaurant in Sorrento, so expect to pay above average but, for us, the food lived up to the extra price tag (and the bottle of wine was relatively reasonable). A great option for a special occasion or a last night on holiday treat. We had starters (savoury cheesecake! & the daily special) and mains (the baccolo and a catch of the day fish), a shared dessert, wine and water for €190 but we didn't begrudge a cent of this as it was good value for the quality and overall experience. Fully recommend.

Went Sept 15. Not as pretty as the pictures on the internet. The food was very salty and restaurant mediocre. Went in celebration of two birthdays with a big group of women and ordered the risotto. I took a half bite and immediately sent it back, the manager asked why and sent out the chef. Why do people usually send food back? Because it's not good. He picked the plate up at first, but since he was so busy flirting with my friends decided to leave the plate on the table for the others to enjoy. I should've asked would both items still be on the check but figured he was at least professional enough and would remove the item I tried to send back. Common courtesy, right? Nope! I ordered something else and that was salty too but I just shut up at that point. Got the bill and sure enough he charged me for what I asked him to take then argued with me about paying for it when I said I wouldn't. He should have told me I would still be responsible for paying. Don't eat here! So many amazing restaurants nearby, don't bother with this one. Not only unprofessional but the salt will send you into a medical shock. Also told them it was two people's birthdays at the table and they intentionally only acknowledged the one they flirted with. Sexiest, salty and...

One of the WORST Meals and experiences I've ever had in Italy! As a single, successful and attractive female, I was referred by my hotel in Sorrento. But it was a poor choice. The food was not good and I am sick the following morning. The other reviews you read are fake reviews, or from people that do not know true excellent dining experiences! THIS IS A TOURIST TRAP! Three of the staff members categorized me as being a "solo woman" ,rather than making me feel welcome as a customer! I am a nice, gracious person, but the continuing questions about being alone was very hurtful abd unnessary! Pasquale is a lazy manager, acting like he is so special, yet he did NOTHING to enhance my experience.Didnt come to my table and inquire about my meal or if I needed anything.

I spent 171 Euro for 1 person, and the treatment was awful. As for the food...it was unremarkable at best. As for Fierenze, you should have offered me another dinner as this was such a bad experience! I work hard for my money as many travelers do, and this was a 1 out of 5 experience! Shameful! So disappointed, and you really need to work hard to make ALL customers feel...
