Read moreVisit this beach! Avoid the others! This beach is great, easy to walk to - no expensive lift required! There was also a local bus stop and taxi point. It's clearly the local beach, much quieter - especially the morning and early afternoon. Some great restaurants and shops here too. Best thing was it was less than half the price of the other beaches near by. Water is lovely and clean too. Sandy beach, a bit pebbly to get into the water, but after the lip it's sand again. There were some kayak/water sport shops and we did see the kayaks go out, but it is quiet and not like sports are taking place right in the beach. There is a Church on the waterfront too and they do Mass with the doors open and you can hear the singing...
