A Lovely Dinner Ruined by Dishonest Billing

We visited this restaurant and had a great start to the evening – the food was delicious, especially the seafood spaghetti, the atmosphere was pleasant, and the staff were friendly. We ordered 3 pizzas, 2 beers, and 2 glasses of wine, and truly enjoyed our time there.

Unfortunately, we were unpleasantly surprised when it came time to pay the bill. Although we were clearly told that no service charge would be added since we were their guests, we were still charged an additional €10 for service. On top of that, our drinks were charged twice – they entered 2 drinks and then again 3 pizzas.

The total bill came to €153, even though the actual cost should have been significantly lower. We were overcharged by more than €64, and only €45 was refunded – and that happened only because my wife carefully checked the receipt.

Sadly, this incident cast a shadow over what was otherwise a lovely experience. We later heard from others that this kind of overcharging is not uncommon in the area, with the warning: "Always check your bill – there may be hidden charges or double items."

The restaurant has great potential, but we were disappointed by the unprofessional and dishonest behavior. We hope the management will take steps to improve transparency and honesty towards their guests, as one bad experience can ruin the...

My husband and I just returned from our honeymoon in beautiful Italy 🇮🇹, and one of the most special moments came from our visit to this amazing family-run restaurant in Sorrento. While in Rome, we happened to meet a wonderful member of their family who encouraged us to stop by—and we’re so grateful we did.

From the moment we arrived, we were welcomed with open arms. The family treated us with such genuine kindness and warmth, it felt like we were visiting relatives rather than dining out. The atmosphere was cozy and full of heart, the service was impeccable, and the food… absolutely delizioso!

It wasn’t just a meal—it was an experience filled with love and connection that made our honeymoon even more meaningful. We’ll always treasure the memory of that evening. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts. Grazie mille! ❤️

This was one of the best meals we had in Sorrento. This is a family run place and the owner is a really nice guy. He gave us a good breakdown of the menu and specials. I always like to go with the specials where possible and they were absolutely amazing! Cocktails were fantastic! This holiday we have been trying to find the best Negroni and this place is now top! They don't scrimp on the spirits and the price is cheaper than most! The price was fairly average or perhaps slightly on the cheaper side. 3 courses for 4 people with 2 bottles of house wine and 2 cocktails each came to about €250 which is good for the area. Would definitely go back here! Our waiter was a guy called Parko (excuse the spelling) and he was really lovely - happy and smiley, just what you want. Top marks for this place!
