Feel like 4 stars is a little harsh on Terrazza Vittoria however I cannot quite bring myself to give it 5… When it comes to dining locations in Sorrento this place has to be number one on any list. The view from our seats was breathtaking as we watched the sun set over the Mediterranean on one side and mt Vesuvius on the other. For some reason something sticks in my mind holding me back from the full 5 star review. It could be the fact that silver service isn’t really my cup of tea or the fact I felt pressure to spend more by the waiting staff who buzzed around the table constantly offering more drinks and pricier food options. As a young couple who love dining out we booked our table for a special occasion and knowing that the tasting menu and wine lists would be above our price range decided to have only a main course each and soft drinks/beer instead of the other more expensive options. We wanted to experience good quality food but to our own budget. Although nothing was said to us directly, upon ordering no starters or first course the waiter practically scoffed at his disapproval as I’m sure the restaurant is used to and would much rather accommodate customers willing to “break the bank” on what could quickly and easily become a very expensive meal. The food we ordered was exceptionally good and could not fault the taste or presentation as it looked and tasted amazing, other than a tiny shard of bone in the lamb loin which I would have expected not to have been there in a restaurant of this calibre! I’d say to anyone who enjoys the more relaxed side of eating out to try somewhere else as Sorrento is full of places with equally as good food for under half of the price in a much more welcoming atmosphere. If you have a few euros to spend and want to experience a great view and impressive food this is the...
Read moreDuring our visit to Sorrento, we had the pleasure of stopping by Terrazza Vittoria, and it quickly became a highlight of our trip. On our first night, we went for drinks, soaking up the stunning atmosphere that blends a sophisticated yet relaxed vibe with panoramic views of the coast. We enjoyed it so much that we decided to return the following night for dinner, and it was an experience that did not disappoint.
From the moment we arrived, the service was impeccable, with a team that made us feel warmly welcomed and attended to. The menu was thoughtfully crafted, and each dish we ordered was beautifully presented and full of flavor. The fresh, local ingredients were showcased brilliantly, making each course a memorable experience.
The ambiance truly elevates the meal. Terrazza Vittoria combines an elegant setting with breathtaking views, especially as the sun sets over the Bay of Naples. It’s the perfect spot for a special evening in Sorrento, whether you’re looking for a quiet drink or a full dining experience. We left with wonderful memories and can’t...

The restaurant is attractive, the staff attentive when you arrive and just ok throughout service. That’s is the good part.
The bad part, the food was just not good. Tuna appetizer was not fresh, fishy (and I like mackerel and anchovies) and under seasoned. My pasta with anchovies was just ok.
Main course of beef tenderloin was tough and tasteless and under seasoned, half the portion was unfinished. The sautéed red snapper was not fresh and light on flavor.
The restaurant is long on theater and short on taste and it is clear that the wait staff are tuned into savvy diners as they steered clear of our table until we asked for the check the 3rd time.
Save your €€€ and find one of the many smaller authentic restaurants, we should have known better than to dine at a big hotel restaurant but we listened to the hotel concierge, lesson learned.
My suggestion to the restaurant: focus on your ingredients, and preparation and less on theater.
My suggestion to diners, steer...
