Well, strap in, folks, because I've got a story that's more tasteless than their food! I visited this Chinese restaurant, and let me tell you, the staff was so aggressive. And the food? It was like a culinary crime scene! I'm pretty sure my fortune cookie read, "You're going to regret eating here." Some dishes looked like they'd been aged longer than a fine wine – only, in this case, it was more like a fine vinegar.

But wait, there's more! The owner must have taken a masterclass in scamming because the bill was so inflated; I think I could have financed a moon mission with what I paid for that sad excuse of a meal.

Il cibo viene servito in grandi quantità. Ma è da sempre risaputo che, nel campo della ristorazione, l’eccessiva abbondanza è sinonimo di scarsa qualitá. Ho ordinato delle fritture cinesi, servite con una coppa di salsa arancione (spacciata per agrodolce) acida e dall’odore nauseabondo. Le fritture erano palesemente surgelate, pregne d’olio, prive di un sapore definito, tuttavia, accettabili. I sushi, invece, immangiabili. Il riso era riso in bianco del giorno prima, scotto, insipido, non condito con aceto e zucchero (come prevede la ricetta), si sgretolava ed aveva un terribile retrogusto di frigorifero. Ripieni miseri, Philadelphia inesistente, pesce che - almeno - sapeva di pesce. Scelta culinaria aberrante quella della maionese sugli uramaki. Ed infine, il peggiore di tutti, il temutissimo pollo alle mandorle, che pollo non era. La carne di dubbia provenienza, dalla consistenza gommosa avvolta da una salsa simil-agrodolce a dir poco stomachevole. L’ho dovuto rimandare indietro.
