We booked this restaurant for our honeymoon. We read the reviews before going and we were a bit skeptical. Wow, we were wrong. It was absolutely perfect. When we arrived our table was not ready. We were directed to the bar where the bartender made us very good cocktails. The restaurant decor is stunning. We were seated outside, but it started to get very windy at one point. They were very fast and efficient and we were quickly seated inside. My pasta became cold due to the wind and they immediately warmed it. As for the food, 10/10. We started with the Burrata di Bufala and the Crudo di Ricciola. The Burrata dish was perfectly balanced, it was an explosion of delicious flavors. The Raw Kingfish melted in our mouths. For pastas, we took the risotto, which was cook to perfection, and we tried the fusilloni. I could write a whole review on the fusilloni. My wife is a pasta lover and she said it was the best pasta she has ever eaten in her whole life. It was so good we ordered a second plate to share and we gave our compliments to the chef. You can see that he is very passionate about what he does and that he really cares about the food that he serves. We finished our meal with a pavlova which was excellent. Everything was perfect from the beginning to end. They also have a very nice sicilian wine selection. The service is very attentive and the staff was kind and very helpful. It was the best meal of our trip. It was outstanding and we will be back. Thank you so...

Nunziatina somehow manages to turn Italian cuisine into a masterclass in mediocrity. The dishes are so bland and uninspired, you’d think they were assembled by a robot on autopilot. Frozen ingredients? Almost certainly. Freshness and creativity? Not even on the menu.
They graciously require you to order two dishes per person, because apparently one disappointing plate isn’t enough. Generosity clearly isn’t part of the concept — unless we’re talking about how generously they charge for such underwhelming food.
The only thing they seem to have put any effort into is the cocktail. It was actually good. Shame the food couldn’t catch up.
As for the service, don’t expect warmth or personality. Salt on the table? Nope. A welcoming atmosphere? Forget it. Just servers pushing you to order more — in English, of course — because why bother pretending this place is for locals?
In short: Nunziatina is all style, zero substance. If your idea of a great night out is overpriced frozen food and being treated like a walking wallet, by all means,...
Read moreTo start off with the positive things: The design and interior is one of a kind and very cool. We also enjoyed the food, which was very pricey but also of good quality and the amount was okay.
However, when you are going to Nunziatina, you expect to have a nice overall experience, especially when you are paying 100€ per person for the dinner and no one wants to be rushed. Therefore, the service needs to be trained better. We had two young, male waiters who treated us quite arrogantly right from the beginning, making the whole experience kind of bad.
Additionally, the staff came to our table literally every two minutes to see if the plates were already empty and wanting to remove everything ASAP which made us feel super pushed to finish everything soon and being kicked out for the next customers to come in. There was also no time taken to explain the menu, even after asking. After bringing food, no one came to ask if things were okay, clearly showing that the waiters were not generally highly attentive, only when it came to getting our table done as quickly as possible.
Very sad, as it overshadowed the whole experience which could otherwise have...
